Direct versus Retrograde Planets
Imagine the cosmic dance of the planets — a perfect blend of motion, never leaning too far into chaos or order. Existence, in its infinite wisdom, has crafted a celestial system where extremes are never the norm.
When all nine planets move direct, the energy becomes a bold outward force — a world brimming with straightforwardness, pragmatism, and external expression. It’s like an orchestra playing in unison, each note loud and clear, pushing life forward with unrelenting momentum.
On the other hand, if all nine planets were to turn retrograde, the universe would spiral inward — a time of deep reflection, delays, and revisiting old wounds and desires. It’s like walking through a hall of mirrors, where every step is a glance back at what was, pulling you into the past.
But here's the beauty: the cosmos never lets us slip too far into either extreme.
No matter the time or tide, a person will always have at least two direct planets — the most luminous of them all — the Sun and the Moon. These two celestial giants never move in reverse.
Why?
The answer is as simple as it is profound. The Sun is the karaka of the soul — the essence of who we are, the unyielding core that never looks back. The Moon is the karaka of the mind — a reflection of the soul's light, much like how the Moon itself shines only by absorbing and reflecting the Sun's radiance.
Spiritually, the soul leads, and the mind follows. They may drift apart during our earthly journey, but in the grand scheme of existence, they are destined to realign. The mind is but a mirror to the soul's glow.
And then, there are the enigmatic shadows — Rahu and Ketu — the ever-retrograde planets, shrouded in mystery and tied to the threads of karma.
Rahu is the driving force behind our birth — the embodiment of unfulfilled desires from past lives, pulling us into this incarnation, urging us to chase what once slipped through our fingers.
Ketu is the master of what we've already conquered — the echoes of past mastery, whispering that certain battles no longer need to be fought. It points to areas where we've already planted our flags, nudging us to seek new frontiers.
A person, by cosmic design, will always have at least two retrograde planets — Rahu and Ketu — anchoring them to their karmic roots.
As for the remaining five — Mars, Venus, Mercury, Jupiter, and Saturn — their direction depends on the ebb and flow of one's karma and desires. They may push forward or pull back, mirroring the inner workings of your soul's journey.
The universe, ever balanced, ensures that life is never a one-way street. There's always a blend — a push and pull — keeping us moving, thinking, evolving. The planets spin, but the dance remains in perfect harmony.
May we all be able to align ourselves with the chart for the most Satvic representations.
Thanks

Rahul
