ජ්‍යොතිර්විද්‍යාව හැඳින්විම් සහ එහි වැදගත්කම
ජ්‍යොතිර් විද්‍යාව යනු භූගෝල විද්‍යාවත් ,තාරකා විද්‍යාවත් පදනම් කර ගනිමින් ගණිතමයවිද්‍යාවේ උපකාරයෙන් සකස් කරගෙන ඇති අතුරු විද්‍යාවකි.මෙයට ජ්‍යොතිශාස්ත්‍රයද කියා කියනු ලැබේ "ජ්‍යොති" යනු ආලෝකය හා බැබලීමයි. ග්‍රහ ලෝක වල තාරකාවන්ගේ බැබලීම පදනම් කරගෙන කරුණු ප්‍රකාශකරන ක්‍රමයක් නිසා මෙයට ජ්‍යොතිෂශාස්ත්‍රද කියාකියනුලැබේ. මහා සාගරයක් සදිසි ජ්‍යොතිෂ විද්‍යාව සිද්ධාන්ත, සංහිතා, හෝරා යන කොටස් 3කින්සමන්විතය ජ්‍යොතිෂය මිනිස් ජීවිතයේසෑම පාර්ශවයකට එලිය හෙවත් ආලෝකයපතුරවා හරි අදුරේ තිබෙන කාමරයක් තුල පහනක් දැල්වීමෙන් ලැබෙන ආලොකයෙන් එතෙක් කාමරය තුල අදුරේ තිබු දේවල් පැහැදිලිව දැක ගත හැකිවනු ඇත.එ ආකාරයට ජ්‍යොතිර් විද්‍යාව මගින් අපගේ පූර්ව ආත්ම භාවයන්හි කරන ලද හොඳ හෝ නරක කර්මයන්හි ප්‍රතිපල අනාවරනය කරණු ලබයි ජ්‍යොතිර් විද්‍යාව ගොඩ නගා ඇත්තේ පුනරුත්පත්තිය හා කර්මය යන සිද්දාන්තයන් මතය එබැවින් ජන්මියකු උපදින මොහොතේ නැගෙනහිර ක්ෂිතිජයෙන් උදාවන රාශිය මුල් කරගෙන පිලියෙල කරනු ලබන ජන්මපත්‍රයහෙවත් "හදහන" මිනිසාගේ කර්ම ශක්තිය පෙන්වන කැඩපතක් බදුය.වේදයේ පවා ප්‍රමුඛ ස්ථානයක් දී ඇත්තේ ජ්‍යොතිර් විද්‍යාවටය .මිනිසාගේ උපතේ සිටමරණය දක්වා කුදු මහත් සෑම කටයුත්ක දීම ජ්‍යොතිර් විද්‍යාව අභිමුඛයට එයි. මෙම නිර්මල වු අති උතුම් ශාස්ත්‍රයේහි දිව්‍යමය බලයක් කැටිව ඇති බව අවධාරණයෙන් සඳහන් කල යුතය. අවුරුදු පන්දාහකට වඩා පැරණි ඉතිහාසයක් තාරකා විද්‍යාවට ඇති බව සාමාන්‍ය පිලිගැනිම වේ. ජ්‍යොතිෂයට තාරකා විද්‍යාවටද වඩා පැරණි ඉතිහාසයක් අතැයි අතැම් උගතුන් විශ්වාස කරන අතර ජ්‍යොතිෂය හා තාරකා විද්‍යාව යන විෂයන්දෙකම එකමකාලයකදි ආරම්භ වූ බව තවත් පිරිසක් විශ්වාස කරති.කෙසේවුවත් මිනිස් ඉතිහාසයේ ඉතා ඈතම අවදියකදි එනම් මිනිසා කෘෂිකාර්මිජීවන රටාවකට පුරුදු වු වකවානුවකදී රාත්‍රී අහසේ දක්නට ලැබෙන තාරකා රටාඅනුව තමන් ජීවත් වන ලෝකය
තුලසිදුවන ස්වභාවික සිදුවීම ,එනම් ජල ගැල්ම,නියඟය වැනි ස්වභාවික සිදුවීම් ගැනඅනාවැකි පැවසිමටඋත්සහා ගත්තේ යයි සිතිය හැක.ජ්‍යොතිෂ් ශාස්ත්‍රයද විශ්වය මෙන්ම සන්කීර්ණය පුළුල්ය මෙම විද්‍යාව පරතෙරට ඉගෙන ගත්තෙක් මිහිපිට නැත මෙම ශාස්ත්‍රය ප්‍රගුණ කරන්නේ යම් ප්‍රමාණයකටද එමප්‍රමාණයටම තමතමන්ගේ ජීවිත සාර්ථක කර ගැනීම සදහා එය උපයෝගි කරගත හැක දහසකුත්දුෂ්කරතාවන්මැදින් අපගෙවන මෙම ලෞකිජිවිතයෙදි ඇතිවන ප්‍රශ්ණවිසඳා ගැනීමට මෙම ශාස්ත්‍රය බොහෝ විට උපයෝගි කරගත හැක ජ්‍යොතිෂ්ශාස්ත්‍දැනගෙන කටයුතු කරන්නා මගතොට තොරතුරුදැනතම ජීවිත ගමන් ගෙන යන්නෙකි.එය නොදැනකටයුතු කරන්නා මගතොට තොරතුරනොදැන ජීවිත ගමන යන්නෙකි යමෙකුට කර්මානුරූපව සිදු විය යුතු හා සිදුවන දේ කල්තියා දැන ගතහැකිඑකමශාස්ත්‍රයද ජ්‍යොතිෂ් ශාස්ත්‍රයයි.බුද්ධීහීන පුද්ගලයන් තුල මෙම ජ්‍යොතිෂ විද්‍යාවපිලිබඳවවිවිධ මති මතානතර තිබුනද , ඍෂීවරෑන් සතුව තිබි අපිරිමිත දැනුම් සම්භාරය හා කැටිවු පරිණත බුද්ධිය අපගේ දැනුම හා බුද්ධියට කිසිසේත් සම කල නොහැකිය අති උතුම් වු දිව්‍යමය වු ජ්‍යොතිෂශාස්ත්‍රය අද දක්වාත් නොනැසි ඉන්ද්‍රඛීයක්සේ නොසැලි පවතින්නේ ඍෂී භාෂිතයන් තුළ අන්තර්ගතවු සත්‍යතාවය නිසාය.
ජ්‍යෝතිෂය දිගුකල් ලොව නොනැසී පවතීවා.

Introduction to Astrology and its importance
Astrology is a science based on geography and astronomy with the help of mathematics.
In this way, astrology reveals the results of good or bad deeds done in our previous souls. Astrology is built on the principles of reincarnation and karma. Therefore, at the time of birth, the birth chart is based on the sign rising from the eastern horizon. So that Horoscope or Handahana(Kendaraya) is a reflecting mirror.
Even the Vedas have given a prominent place to Astrology, Also From the birth of man to his death, the giving of all great things comes to Astrology. It should be emphasized that there is a divine power in this pure and noble science. It is generally accepted that astronomy has a history of more than Five Thousands years.
Some scholars believe that astrology has an older history than astronomy, while others believe that the subjects of astrology and astronomy began at the same time. However, in the most remote era of human history, that is, at a time when man was accustomed to an agricultural lifestyle, the world he lives in is seen according to the star patterns in the night sky.
It can be thought that he tried to make predictions about natural events such as floods and droughts.
Astrology is as wide and complex as the universe. There is no one on earth who has studied this science. To a certain extent, this science can be used to succeed in one's own life. Astrology is the only science in which one can know in advance what will happen karmically and what will happen in future based on our freewill. Even though there are various opinions about this astrology science among unintelligent people, the limitless capacity of knowledge and mature intelligence possessed by the sages cannot be compared to our knowledge and intelligence.
