CS - Mrigshira - Jyeshtha - Moola

Jyeshtha - Jyeshtha Nakshatra is from 16.40 degree of Scorpio to 30.00 degree of Scorpio. So, Jyeshtha Nakshatra is in front of Mrigshira Nakshatra from 23.20 degree to 30.00 degree of Scorpio. It is a nakshatra of feeling better or higher than others. It represents orderly and justifiable people. It is the most closely connected nakshatra with occult and mystic. Moola - Moola Nakshatra is from 0.00 degree to 13.20 degree of Sagittarius. So, Moola Nakshatra is in front of Mrigshira Nakshatra from 0.00 degree to 6.40 degree of Sagittarius. It is a nakshatra of research, digging deep and knowing the hidden truth of things and people in life. As we have always seen that mythological stories always play an important role in interpretation of Nakshatras, so it will be worthy to reproduce the mythological stories of Rohini Nakshatra and Jyeshtha Nakshatra here. Although, Anuradha Nakshatras doesn’t have any direct mythological story but it is connected with devotional love of Radha and Krishna. Mythological Story – There are 2 stories connected with Mrigshira and Jyeshtha Nakshatras which speak a lot about nature of these nakshatra -

• Mrigshira Nakshatra - There is a story where Rohini is daughter of Lord Brahma and she was the most beautiful celestial lady. Now, when Lord Brahma thought of creating Universe and life here, he wanted to create people as beautiful as Rohini. For that to happen, there was only one way possible that Lord Brahma has incest with Rohini. Although Brahma tried to do that but was stopped in his actions by Lord Shiva which we will again see in story of Ardra Nakshatra. In the introduction article on nakshatra, I said that all the nakshatras come in a series. Here, we will get the 1st glimpse of that as the story of Mrigshira starts where story of last nakshatra Rohini ends. In Rohini, we have seen how Lord Brahma got attracted or infatuated towards his own daughter Rohini and advanced to have an act of incest to create people in this Universe as beautiful as Rohini. Seeing that, Rohini got scared and ran away. Brahma to stealthily chase her, took the form of a Deer. And here, he was searching for Rohini through Deer's Head, i.e. Mrigshira. So, the portion of story where Brahma chases Rohini falls into Mrigshira Nakshatra.
• Now, as this story looks very immoral or controversial type of, there are various interpretations to it. Some say that when Brahma wanted to create people as beautiful as Rohini then there was only one way that Brahma has to have sex with Rohini and then only such beautiful people can be created. Hence, Brahma tried to have incest with Rohini. Osho Rajneesh says that whole story is symbolic and the symbolism or message here is that if you are creative and have a desire to create something beautiful then you should go any limit to follow those creative pursuits. • Jyeshtha Nakshatra - Jyeshta's mythological story is most interesting and in a way, it represents all the traits or characteristics of Jyeshta Nakshatra. So, in introductory article for Nakshatra series (https://www.astrosaxena.com/intronaksh), we have seen that all these 27 nakshatras are nothing but 27 sisters. The eldest among them is Jyeshta. Now, Moon was married to all these sisters but he had special affection towards Rohini. So, Moon used to spend more time with Rohini and used to ignore other wives of his. This made all other sisters feel neglected and jealous of Rohini. They all went to the eldest among them, i.e. Jyeshta to complain about it. Jyeshta then laid down the rules and regulations for Moon that as a husband, he is supposed to spend same time with all his wives. Hence, Jyeshta allotted one day for Moon to spend with one wife. That's why, Moon transits in 1 nakshatra in 1 day. Now, this story has all the traits of Jyeshta which we will further see.
• Moola Nakshatra - As Moola is ruled by Nritti, the Goddess of Destruction, any story of destruction of Evil and re-establishment of Good can be considered as the story of Moola. So, all the stories like Ramayana or Mahabharata where evil was uprooted for resumption of good can be directly linked to Moola Nakshatra. Goddess Nritti also represents avoiding the extremes to avoid transformations or major changes in life. It is also nakshatra of research and hidden matters.

Now, if we see then common theme around this axis of Mrigshira, Jyeshtha and Moola is research. So, we can say that if a person has planets in this axis of Mrigshira, Jyeshtha and Moola, he can be doing well in research related fields of career.

Besides that,

Mrigshira is Nakshatra of chasing desires vigorously.

Jyeshtha represents Justifiability and Authority.

Moola is about transformations.

So, planets in Mrigshira can give us desires to achieve and attain in this world. But it is very necessary to know that which desire we should pursue and which one we should leave. Not all desires are worthy of following. If Mark David Chapman wants to kill John Lennon then it is not worthy desire to follow.

Now, this wisdom to segregate between worthy desire Vs unworthy desire is coming from Jyeshtha Nakshatra as it is the nakshatra of Justifiability and Fairness. So, Jyeshtha Nakshatra can help us in segregating between worthy desire Vs unworthy desire. Then if pursue right desires with vigor of Mrigshira then we can gain authority and recognition promised by Jyeshtha.

Then what is the role of Moola? Moola represents major changes and going deep within self. It also represents facing your biggest fears of life as its deity is Goddess Nritti. Moola tells us to go within and transform Self, which is the biggest change we can go through, to gain authority and recognition. Another way we can say is that authority over self can be the biggest authority in life but for that we need to go within and face our deepest fears.

Conclusion – So, this axis of Mrigshira-Jyeshtha-Moola is all about chasing your desires and getting recognition and authority in life but before that we need to go within ourselves, face our fears and insecurities, decide about worthy desires to pursue and then organize our efforts to get the promised authority and recognition. As I said, Self-change is the biggest change we can go through as almost everyone is interested in changing others.
