Dasha Activation.
Activation of Chart through Dashas.
Now, see the horoscope attached and see how this Mahadasha's activate a particular area of our life. So, if in this horoscope, person goes through a Saturn Mahadasha, then it will activate 7th house where Saturn is placed, 9th and 10th house as Saturn rules the signs placed there (Capricorn and Aquarius), it will further activate any planet which is in Saturn's Nakshatra (Pushyami, Anuradha, Uttarabhadra) and finally it will activate the house where the lord of the nakshatra is sitting in which Saturn is placed (means if Saturn is in Vishakha Nakshatra then Vishakha is ruled by Jupiter and Saturn's Mahadasha will also activate the house where Jupiter is sitting). Like this, the Dasha system tells us where the focus of person's life will be in this major time period.
Just like Mahadasha, we have Antardasha, Pratyantar Dasha and Sookshma Dasha, which are actually a smaller time periods which under the same Mahadasha. So, Saturn Mahadasha may be of 19 years, but it will have one or two years time period of all other planets one after the other, which run simultaneously with Mahadasha. Further, there are Pratyantar Dasha and Sookshma Dasha which runs under the Mahadasha and Antardasha and time period here goes down to months and days respectively. Just like Mahadasha activates different houses and planets, similarly Antardasha, Pratyantar Dasha and Sookshma Dasha activates its respective planets and houses. So, below is an example of the hierarchy of Dasha.
Mahadasha --- Antardasha --- Pratyantar Dasha --- Sookshma Dasha.
Saturn -- Jupiter --- Mars --- Mercury.
So, at the same time, a person can go through Saturn's Mahadasha, Jupiter's Antardasha, Mars' Pratyantar Dasha and Mercury's Sookshma Dasha, as described above. One thing to remember is that Mahadasha Planet has the highest say in giving results. So, in the above case, Jupiter, Mars and Mercury can give as much results to the individual as allowed by Mahadasha Planet Saturn allows. Similarly, if someone is going through Jupiter Mahadasha, then other planets can give as much results as Jupiter allows them to give. Mahadasha planet takes the position of Boss.
So, if you want to see the Major events of life, like marriage, children, foreign travels, wealth gain etc., look at major time periods like Mahadasha and Antardasha. If you want to look how next few months are going to be or what precautions you should take then look at Pratyantar Dasha. Sookshma Dasha is really not used that much because it goes down to the level of days and hours, unless someone is really blessed with intuition and spiritual powers, it is hard to predict what is going to happen in next few hours. Needless to say that to predict anything, we have to still consider main birth chart and current annual transits of planets.

Could you please advise if the house that planet lords (which is in SA nakshatra) will get active or where is sits? Just to make it simpler suppose VE is in nakshatra of Pushya and it lords 3rd and 8th house for Pisces ASC and it is sitting in 5th house, will 3rd, 8th and 5th house will get activate?

Jupiter is benefic, so it will try to safeguard you. i think the key point here is dignity of jupiter. if jupiter is weak in birthchart and transit, then it can be troublesome period. Thanks
