As per information available online, Bachchan ji was born on 11th Oct, 1942 at 4 pm IST at Allahabad, India. He was born as an Aquarius ascendant with Ketu in 1st house/Aquarius, Saturn in 4th house/Taurus, Jupiter in 6th house/Cancer, Rahu in 7th house/Leo, Sun-Mercury-Mars-Venus in 8th house/Virgo and Moon in 9th house/Libra.

Confusion around chart and results – Now, the biggest confusion or area of debate among astrologers is that how this chart gave him success in movie industry and especially in Saturn MD as he initially got stardom in 1970s when he was in Saturn MD?

Different Astrologers give their own reasons for his rise at stardom in Saturn MD, which are valid enough. Like,

• Saturn is his ascendant lord and sitting in 4th house aspected 10th house of career.

• Rahu is co-lord of ascendant and as ascendant got activated through Saturn MD even Rahu also got activated being the co-lord of Aquarius and Rahu in 7th house/Leo is good enough position to gain the mass fame he achieved.

• Then a few astrologers also make Saturn in Taurus as ascendant to judge his Saturn MD which makes his stellium of Sun-Mercury-Mars-Venus to fall in 5th house/Virgo which remains the main house of creativity.

But if we see the birth ascendant chart then 5th house is empty, 9th house (5th from 5th house) has Moon in Libra, and 10th house of career has Scorpio sign which has nothing to do with creativity. Also, Saturn is not activating any creativity related houses during Saturn MD which is very much necessary for career in movies etc. And if at all he got success during Saturn MD due to abovementioned reasons then how come that success continued in Mercury MD, Ketu MD and now in Venus MD?

So, there are many questions which remain unanswered even after these logics supplied to us. But if we just apply the concept of Astro-Cartography Chart then everything falls into place quite perfectly and we get all answers.

Now, 10th house lord and 5th house lord is same planet Venus which links his career with creativity and movies. Although Venus is debilitated in 9th house/Virgo but it gets Neech Bhang Raaj Yoga from Mercury which helped him in professional life.

Changes in life-events – Now, let’s see what changes came in life events with change of location in 1968 –

• He got his 1st opportunity in movies in 1969 in movie named Bhuvan Shome where he worked as narrator and voice-over.

• In 1969 only, he got his 1st role in movie named Saat Hindustani. Please keep in mind that he started his Jupiter-Rahu dasha in 1969 which was Sandhi Period for Saturn MD - https://www.astrosaxena.com/scsasp. So, he started getting results of Saturn MD from Sandhi Period with a few initial roles in movies.

• In Nov 1971, his Saturn MD started. Now, Saturn is still ascendant lord but now Saturn is in 5th house/Taurus of creativity/movies etc. and the result was he got his first major hit movie Zanjeer in 1973. As it was released in May, 1973, we can understand that this movie was in the making during 1972 when he just entered in Saturn MD.

• After that, he got the sustaining success till end of Saturn MD in 1990.

• Then Mercury MD continued his success in 2000s as it was exalted in 9th house (5th from 5th house).

• Ketu MD also sustained his success as it kept Rahu in 8th house/Leo/Magha ruled by Ketu.

Importance of Birth Chart - Now, comes the question that what went wrong in 1990s where he was in great financial crisis, especially between 1995 to 2000. This is where I say that everything is in addition and birth chart will keep its importance. So, let’s see as per his birth chart now –

• Mercury MD started from Nov, 1990. Mercury is exalted in 8th house/Virgo in birth chart. What is 8th house? Major changes, going through death and re-birth type of scenario. Mercury was exalted.

• So, first he went through a major crisis in his business and finances as his MD planet Mercury was in 8th house and Venus was debilitated.

• Then he came out of crisis from year 2000 as Mercury was still exalted.

But the main question is that why this crisis happened from 1995 to 2000 only. Look at the transits of Saturn from 1995 to 2000. Saturn was first in Aquarius and then in Pisces during these years.

• As per his birth chart, Saturn was in 1st house/Aquarius of overall life from 1994 to 1996. It started bringing changes and stress in overall life. It was the first time when news started coming that his company ABCL is incurring huge losses.

• Then from 1997 to 1999, Saturn was in Pisces. Now, as per his birth chart Aquarius ascendant, Saturn was in his 2nd house of wealth. This is where situation went out of hand where he was in deep financial crisis and with no work in his hand.
