A thing to remember here is that these posts are strictly meant for the particular planet position. Like, today we are looking at Sun in Libra, so the description given here may change for you if your Sun is although in the sign of Libra but with conjunction with or aspected by other planets.
So, lets see what Sun can do in the sign of Libra. 1st lets see what these 2 things represent -
Sun represents Personality, King, Government, Father, Authority, Career, Top Positions, Ego, Self Esteem, Health, Education etc.
Libra is the 7th sign of zodiac belt, hence it represents the energy and things related with 7th house of horoscope, i.e. market place, business, partnerships, relations etc. Basically Libra is sign of relationships. Libra is consisted of another 2 and half Nakshatra named Chitra, Swati and Vishakha. Libra's lord is Venus.
Now, as Sun was exalted in Aries at 10*, now Sun is at 180* opposite in Libra. So, if at 10* Aries Sun was exalted then at 10* Libra Sun is debilitated. It means it is weakest position of Sun when it is at 10* of Libra.
Now, question is why Sun is debilitated in Libra?
Sun is basically your Ego & Authority and Libra is a sign of relationships. That's why it is weakest because Ego doesn't work in Relationships. Either you keep the ego or relationships. Both cant go together. That's why, when you are in relationship, you have to let go of your ego.
So when Sun is in Libra around 10*, person will feel pinch of debilitated Sun, means relationship overall or especially with father may suffer. Person may not have a clear idea about his career or what he wants to do in life. As Sun also represents self-esteem, these people will have continuous troubles with their confidence or ego being hurt or doubting at self-worth. They want to be in relations which can help their low Ego. Career wise, it can make a person go in counselling, law or relationship counselor. They can be highly creative too as Libra's lord is Venus. If Sun is away from 10* then questions regarding self confidence and self esteem would not effect the person as much as it would if Sun is near 10* but impact of weak Sun will be there.
Things which may impact Sun's effect in Libra are obviously different Nakshatras Sun may be positioned. If Sun is in Chitra Nakshatra, then Mars' position will impact Sun's effect as Chitra is ruled by Mars. If Sun is Swati Nakshatra, then Swati's lord Rahu will impact Sun's result. Similarly, if Sun is in Vishakha Nakshatra, then Jupiter will impact Sun's result as Vishakha's lord.
Now, the biggest make or break situation with this placement will come with Venus position as Venus is lord of Libra. So, if Sun is in Libra and Venus is placed in Virgo, that's when person may find lots of obstacles and troubles in relations, relations with father and career as not only Sun is Debilitated but Venus is also in its Debilitated sign in Virgo. On the other hand if Venus is in Libra itself along with Sun, then it creates Neecha Bhang Raaj Yoga and Sun gets up to the state of Super Exalted in same Libra sign. That's why it is most important to read a chart on a whole.
