For Cancer Ascendant people, Sun rules the 2nd house of chart with its sign Leo. So, let’s look at 2nd house and Leo too.

What will Sun do in Aspect? – Now, Sun can be sitting in any house of chart for a Cancer Ascendant person. 1st of all, Sun will take the energy of house of chart, it rules with Leo sign, and take it to the house where it sits. Then from the house it sits, it will throw its aspect on the 7th house from its place. As Sun represents Ego and Authority, Sun’s aspect on a particular house will show where person will show Ego and Authority of things related to the house which is ruled by Sun through Leo Sign. Things which I still can’t cover – Although, I am trying to make it a detailed analysis of planetary aspects but I still can’t cover few things like dignity of planet involved, like exalted Sun aspecting 7th house from itself is different from debilitated Sun aspecting 7th house from itself, Sun conjunct with other planets, if there are planets in 7th house from Sun where it aspects, in which case those planets will aspect back at Sun and impact it, and planets aspecting Sun from other houses. That’s why, no matter how detailed analysis you do in Astrology, there are still few things uncovered and that just shows the limits of Human Efforts.
Now, let’s see the meaning and impact of Sun’s aspect through different houses for Cancer Ascendant people.
Sun in 1st house – Sun will be in Cancer after ruling 2nd house. This shows that person may be egoist and proud about his family, wealth and lineage aspect. As Sun is in Cancer sign, person can be highly emotional about his Family and Father. Now, Sun will aspect 7th house and person will display the same ego of Family & Wealth to Other People/Masses/Spouse. This will burn his relations, though it can be useful in prospering Business.
Sun in 2nd house – Sun is in own sign here. Of course Ego and Proud feeling towards Family, Wealth, Lineage and Father will be multiplied manifold here. The person or his father will be very authoritative in his family. Then Sun’s aspect goes to 8th house of Marriage Benefits and In-Laws. Person displays same authority there, which may not work or may spoil his relations with in-laws. So, person needs to be careful and dignified in display of ego.
Sun in 3rd house – Sun is in Virgo here. This person makes a Career in Business out of Family Wealth or Family Business. He is very analytical and perfectionist. He is very authoritative in the way he trades or communicates. Then he displays the same authority towards Higher Education and Teachers. That’s where, he has ego battles with his Teachers as he thinks he knows better than his Teachers. So, person should be careful about it.
Sun in 4th house – Here, Sun will be debilitated plus it will lose its directional strength in 4th house. So, it basically shows a person with beaten-up ego in early life. His ego develops with age. As Sun aspects the 10th house, person will show-off a fake ego in front of Society and at work place. Basically, this is a person with inferiority complex who shows-off in front of others so that he can feel good about himself. Here, Confidence, Ego and Authority develops with time and around mid-30s.
Sun in 5th house – Sun will be in Scorpio. It shows that matters related with Family, Wealth, Father and Ego goes through some sudden events and changes, which shakes up person in early life. But more he deals with these sudden events, more he gains ego, confidence and authority in the world. Sun’s aspect goes to 11th house and although he gains out of creativity of 5th house but due to ego display, his relation with friends & networking circle may get spoilt.
Sun in 6th house – Sun is in Sagittarius here. It shows someone’s wealth is coming through Service in Govt, Law or Authority Position in matters of Higher Education. Here, Ego & Authoritativeness will come from Family, Wealth, position in Govt or Higher Education. This position can spoil relation with colleagues. As Sun aspects 12th house, person displays same ego to 12th house related things like MNCs, Jails/Hospitals (wherever he works).
Sun in 7th house – Now, Sun is in Capricorn, i.e. enemy sign. This shows person displays the ego of his Wealth and Family to Other People/Masses/Partners. Sun in 9th house – Sun is in Pisces, going 8 houses away from 2nd house. This shows someone leaves his family and moves to far distant places to either gain Higher Education or for his Career. Here, person will display ego towards his Teachers & Gurus and might have some mild ego battles. Mild, because Sun is in Pisces, Spiritual & Water sign. So, things will never go out of hand in matters of ego battles like it may be when Sun is in enemy sign or debilitated. Then Sun’s aspect will go to 3rd house and person will have an authoritative speech and communication style. This may create rift with siblings but it may give a very authoritative speech.
Sun in 10th house – Here, Sun is exalted. Person will have a very dignified ego and authority at work place. He will be in position of high authority wherever he works, either Govt or Private Sector. He commands respect from colleagues & Bosses. Then Sun’s aspect to 4th house also ensures that he receives similar respect at home, which is obvious.
Sun in 11th house – Sun will be in Taurus. 2nd house and Taurus represent same things, like Wealth & Assets. 11th house is also Earning/Income. So, ego is revolving around money matters here. Sun’s aspect on 5th house shows that person shows same ego towards Lovers or try to be authoritative towards children, which won’t work. So, they should be careful about it. Although, Creativity will prosper due to same aspect.
Sun in 12th house – Sun will be in Gemini here. It shows that person’s wealth is coming from working at Foreign Companies, MNCs, Jails, and Hospitals etc in an authoritative position. So, person will get authority at these places and then shows the same authority and ego to 6th house of daily work routine & colleagues at work place. Although, it shows good authority but person should be careful in displaying the same.
