So, lets see what Moon can do in 10th house without any conjunction or aspect from any other planet. 1st lets see what these 2 things represent -
Moon represents Mind, Emotions, Mother, Local Government, Peace of Mind, Home Environment, Water, Milk etc.
10th house almost represents the same things like Government, Father, Authority, Fame etc. Here, Authority should not be understood in literal sense, like someone got a Government job or became a Manager or CEO of a Firm. Here Authority means doing any work with complete perfection and your opinion matters when comes to making any decision related to that work, so even a good Hacker can be a person of authority as he is master of that particular work.
Now, the emotional and gentle Moon, which represents Mind has come into the 10th house of Authority and Status. So, these people do want to achieve authority, status and fame in life as their mind gets peace when they get into such positions. Unless and until they get that authority, mind may be restless. Also, 10th house is Society, so mind is always looking at what society is thinking or saying about person. They can be all about their image in public.
As Moon also represents Mother and 10th house is house of Father, it shows that person has got a Mother who is very Father like (i.e. Authoritative) and got a Father who is very emotional and caring like a mother. As 10th house is also house of Career, it shows that this person and his/her Mother is very career-oriented people.
It is hard for these people to live away from the Public Life, as one way or the other they end up in dealing with people.
Overall, a very good placement to become Nurse, Doctor, Caretaker, Counsellor, Public Leader etc but wherever they are, they want to be in authoritative position.
