We are entering a phase of important and long term transits of the planets and none other is more important then Nodes transits from Sep, 2020 onwards. So, let’s begin with understanding this Nodal Transits with Rahu’s transit in Taurus.

Normally, it is like a ritual to study Rahu & Ketu together in birth chart or during transit, but I just had a thought of making separate articles for Rahu and Ketu each, just to have a detailed and descriptive look at both transits. There will be quite a few joint impacts which Nodes will create along with Jupiter-Saturn-Mars in remainder of the year. We need to see impacts of those transits through separate articles. So, Rahu will transit into the sign of Taurus on Sep, 2020. So, let’s have a look at how this transit is going to impact Human Life on Earth on the basis of following points –

Transit Period – Rahu will move into Taurus on 19^th Sep, 2020 and will stay there till 17^th March, 2022. So, it is transit of almost 18 months which is a good enough time to make some events happen in our life. Again, it is never 1 planet which causes the event. True Node Vs Mean Node – First of all, there are mainly 2 ways of calculating the transits of Rahu and Ketu. They are known as True Nodes and Mean Nodes. As per True Nodes calculations, Rahu and Ketu will change signs on 19^th Sep, 2020 but as per Mean Nodes they will change signs on 23^rd Sep, 2019. I am not going into debate of which one is more correct as the difference between the two is less than 1 degree. So, follow whichever fits your understanding. Rahu’s Last Transit – Let’s 1^st see how Rahu’s transit in Gemini manifested in last 18 months. Gemini is sign of Communications and Rahu is Illusion. As per me, if something actually messed-up our lives in last 18 months then it is mis-information and fake-news. Those who are in power utilized media and other sources of information to spread as much false information and lies as was necessary for their own purpose. This transit also showed that how receptive is human mind and how easily it can be manipulated by just forwarding some Whatsapp messages few times in a day. And how can we forget the result of Rahu in Ardra Nakshatra which brought news of Covid to the world and beginning of Rahu in Mrigshira Transit which made us see the rise of “I can’t breathe” movement and military aggression between India and China. So, Rahu in Gemini made its impact on human life. Hence, we can say that Rahu in Taurus won’t be an exception here and will make its own impact on our lives.

Now, Rahu, Taurus and Rahu in Taurus.

Rahu - Rahu represents illusion, foreign lands, foreign things, Drugs, Medicines, any type of intoxication, fame, wealth, success, obsession, past-life left-over karma, movies, television, online world, cheating, imagined fears, unusual things, unique things, creativity, rule breaker. Rahu also blows things out of proportions. 

During transit, Rahu is basically that obsessive energy which makes us gravitate towards the things related to house/sign where Rahu is transiting in next 18 months.

Taurus - Taurus is the 2nd sign of zodiac belt, so it represents many things related with 2nd house of horoscope like, Hoarded Wealth, Assets, Savings, Finances, Luxuries and Liquid Money. All in all a sign related with luxuries and all the conveniences of life. Taurus is consisted of 2 and half Nakshatras, i.e. Krittika, Rohini and Mrigshira. Also, Taurus' lord is Venus only. 

Rahu in Taurus – So, now Rahu enters in Taurus. Rahu is considered as exalted in Taurus but in my opinion, Nodes are neither exalted nor debilitated. They are just doing their job of exploding & imploding respectively in every sign. It is just that in Taurus, Rahu explodes wealth and 99% population loves wealth and assets, so they made this opinion that Rahu is exalted in Taurus. • Taurus is sign of wealth and assets. Rahu explodes things. So, the most common result of this transit is that there will be lots of opportunity to gain wealth and assets during this transit. It may sound surprising under current situation of recession but if we think logically then there is only one way of coming out of recession and that is by infusing money into market, so that money can again circulate in market. So, sooner or later Govts would have to infuse money into market to come out of this situation.
• So, there will be lots of opportunities to make money in coming 18 months. People can gain a lot of wealth if they are working in right area.
• As Rahu represents unusual or alternate ways, people can find out new ways to earn money. And this is where the person’s evolution level will be at display where they will make a judgment between legal ways of making money or illegal ways of making money.
• As Rahu represents online world, online ways of making money will become more popular.

• We can get some indication of future transit of Rahu in Taurus by looking back at last transit of Rahu in Taurus in 2002-03. Interestingly, it was the time when Euro was introduced and accepted as currency by EU. So, we can be here for some major change on financial front.
• Taurus has other representations too like assets, securities, safety, luxuries etc but somehow they all are connected with wealth factor. So, I focused this transit on wealth. If wealth gets impacted, all other representations will automatically get impacted.

House Co-ruled by Rahu – Rahu co-rules Aquarius sign with Saturn. So, whichever house of your chart has Aquarius sign, things related to that house will be manifested during this transit through the house where Taurus falls in your chart. But the actual event is based on chart + dasha + transit. So, just because of 1 transit, we can’t say that event is going to happen.

Dasha – As always, someone going through Rahu MD/AD will feel the full impact of transit. Others will also see some of the results as transit duration of 18 months is long enough to impact the human life.

Nodes Return – Those who are born with Rahu in Taurus in birth chart will also see full results, regardless of dasha, as it is an important transit of Rahu going over Rahu. Age of Individual – Results of malefic planets also depend on the age of person as they become mild after attaining maturity age. Rahu’s maturity age is 42 years. So, if you are over 42 or even close to 40, things can be more beneficial for you. But as it is malefic planet by nature, even benefits will come with some negativity.

Planets in Taurus & Aquarius – Also, if you are born with planets in Taurus, you will see results of those planets too as Rahu transits over them. • When Rahu moves over nakshatra Rohini, it can bring abovementioned results with higher intensity as Taurus and Rohini represent similar things.
