Rahu in Aries Transit March-April, 2022

We are entering a phase of important and long term transits of the planets and one of the important transits is Nodes transit from March-April, 2022 onwards. So, let’s begin with understanding this Nodal Transits with Rahu’s transit in Aries.

Normally, it is like a ritual to study Rahu & Ketu together in birth chart or during transit, but I just had a thought of making separate articles for Rahu and Ketu each, just to have a detailed and descriptive look at both transits. Also, there will be quite a few joint impacts which Nodes will create along with Jupiter-Saturn-Mars in remainder of the year. We need to see impacts of those transits through separate articles. As always, we can’t cover everything in one article.

So, Rahu will transit into the sign of Aries on March-April, 2022. So, let’s have a look at how this transit is going to impact Human Life on Earth on the basis of following points –

Transit Period – Rahu will move into Aries on 17^th March, 2022 and will remain there till 29^th Nov, 2023. So, it is transit of almost 18 months which is a good enough time to make some events happen in our life. Again, it is never 1 planet which causes the event. So, this article must be read along with other updates on transits I timely post.

True Node Vs Mean Node – First of all, there are mainly 2 ways of calculating the transits of Rahu and Ketu. They are known as True Nodes and Mean Nodes. As per True Nodes calculations, Rahu and Ketu will change signs on 17^th March, 2022 but as per Mean Nodes they will change signs on 12^th April, 2022. I am not going into debate of which one is more correct as the difference between the two is less than 1 degree. So, follow whichever fits your understanding. If you want more info on it, then please search with “True Node Vs Mean Node” or like terms. As Mean Nodes work well for me, I follow Mean Nodes.

In case, someone is willing to experiment and find out as to which Nodes System work better for them then please pay attention that time-gap between transits of True Nodes Vs Mean Nodes is about one month (17^th Mar, 2022 Vs 12^th April, 2022). In this approximate one month time, people can observe if they are getting more results of Rahu in Taurus or Rahu in Aries. Likewise, they can observe if they are getting more results of Ketu in Scorpio or Ketu in Libra. So, this one month time can give us opportunity to find out which Nodes System is working for us.

Rahu’s Last Transit – Let’s 1^st see how Rahu’s transit in Taurus manifested in last 18 months. Taurus is sign of wealth & assets and Rahu is Illusion. We can see that in last 18-months’ time period, we were in post-covid time zone where people are still trying to get back to their normal life and their normal livelihood. Finance and Wealth remained major concern for people. At the same time, World Govts have tried to create an environment of illusive prosperity through sources of information, like everything is fine. We can see that digital economy and Crypto-Currency is on a high during this transit. Financial frauds and fraudulent money making schemes also had their say in last 18 months.

At personal level, Rahu was transiting my 7^th house/Taurus which enhanced my recognition and reach among masses through different activities related with Astrology. It was also good time financially.

Hence, we can say that Rahu in Taurus gave its promised results. So, there is every possibility that upcoming Rahu in Aries transit will also give its results, which we are trying to find out through this article.

Now, Rahu, Aries and Rahu in Aries.

Rahu - Rahu represents illusion, foreign lands, foreign things, Drugs, Medicines, any type of intoxication, fame, wealth, success, obsession, past-life left-over karma, movies, television, online world, cheating, imagined fears, unusual things, unique things, creativity, rule breaker. Rahu also blows things out of proportions. 

During transit, Rahu is basically that obsessive energy which makes us gravitate towards the things related to house/sign where Rahu is transiting in next 18 months.

Aries – Aries is the 1st sign of zodiac belt, so it represents the things and energy of 1st house of horoscope like Self, Personality etc. Besides that, Aries is the sign of our individuality, our aggression, our actions, our competitive ability etc. Aries is ruled by Mars and it is consisted of 2 and half Nakshatras named Ashwini, Bharani and Krittika.

Rahu in Aries - One thing we have to remember with Rahu through Signs is that Rahu converts himself as the lord of the sign it is sitting in and then amplifies quality of lord. Like, when Rahu is in Aries, Rahu will take all the qualities of Mars (Lord of Aries) and then will amplify those qualities out of limit. Rahu also does same to the planet it is sitting with. Like, if Rahu is with Saturn then it will take all the qualities of Saturn and blow them out of proportion during Rahu MD or Saturn MD. It is always better to have Rahu alone in a house rather than conjunct with a planet. Ideal placement for Rahu is to sit with an exalted planet, then it takes all the qualities of the exalted planet and amplifies them. 

In general, we can expect following results with Rahu transiting in Aries –

• As I see, it is always easier to interpret malefic planets as they seldom change their basic nature. They are supposed to bring difficulties in our lives and bring situations where we are required to work hard. The end result is that after facing those difficult situations, we realize our true potential. Even when Mars is exalted or Saturn is exalted then it is not that they are going to let-go of their basic nature which is malefic and which makes us work hard towards our ambitions with perseverance.
• Simplest way to interpret any planetary position or transit is by looking at the nature of sign or nakshatra and nature of planet involved. So, we need to combine Rahu’s nature with Aries nature.
• When Rahu comes into Aries, it takes over the qualities of Mars and blows them out of proportion. So, it can make someone too aggressive and impulsive. Same energy can be utilized well in Sports or fields like Army where you need an aggressive attitude to achieve anything but in personal life it can be a harmful placement.
• As Rahu is turning into Mars and then exploding that energy, people can become too aggressive and impulsive during this transit. As impulsive as to be violent if caught by anger. That's why this placement becomes harmful for relations as people become too obsessive and possessive for their partner and when they don't get attention, it may even lead to physical fights.
• At the same time, it is a great placement for competition, achievements and physical activities. There are two ways to look at the results of all these acts. Some people say that all these acts are paying them money in the end, hence they are doing it. I feel that money is the most natural outcome of any work. You do any work in this world and you will get money. There is no work in the world which doesn't pay you back. So, I feel that the basic fact that dedicating yourselves to a higher cause is meaningful and most important. Money is an outcome which is bound to come.
• As Aries and Mars are also related with Wars/Violence/Aggression, it means that during Rahu in Aries, we can see some actual wars or may be resurfacing of Cold War. Remember that Rahu is illusion. It can be an illusion of War too. Illusion of War means the Governments are engaging people with this thought that a war can take place any moment. So that people should not focus on real issues.
• This looks more potential if we look at the last Rahu in Aries transit 18 years back. It was in 2004 and US and Allied Forces were engaged in wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
• So, a War or Conflict like situation can be potential possibility during this transit. Sale of weaponry can be on high which can bring wealth to people selling weapons.
• Even at personal level, we can see people getting more aggressive and dominant during this transit. As always, regular meditation can help people in sailing through this time period without much harm. Else people can get into conflicts, violence and injuries.
• In our personal relations too, Mindfulness can be very helpful in avoiding many conflicts and disputes. This transit can enhance people’s ability to dominate and fight. An obvious advice would be to drive your vehicles carefully and slowly, else chances of accidents and surgeries are high.
• In the end, free will is with us as to how we want to utilize this transit. Aries/Mars is giving option of dominating or controlling others or being protective towards others both. In the end, it is our choice if we want to fight or protect. Obviously, people with higher evolution level will engage themselves in protective behaviour and people at lower evolution level will be engaged in fighting.
• In case, you find yourself engaged in fighting then at least be honest to accept the responsibility of your actions. Don’t blame your actions on others because “no one can trigger you in fight unless you want to be triggered.” And if you accept the responsibility once honestly then it will be difficult to fight again.
• Now, in whichever house Rahu is transiting in your birth chart in Aries sign, things and people related to that house can become a reason behind conflicts or nourishment, as the case may be. 
• Last but not the least, as Rahu is already in Krittika Nakshatra (https://www.astrosaxena.com/RahuTrKrittika) which spreads between Taurus to Aries, we are already receiving some of these results. We can see more intensified results when Rahu comes in Aries transit as Aries and Krittika are similar in nature.

House Co-ruled by Rahu – Rahu co-rules Aquarius sign with Saturn. So, whichever house of your chart has Aquarius sign, things related to that house will be manifested during this transit through the house where Aries falls in your chart. But the actual event is based on chart + dasha + transit. So, just because of 1 transit, we can’t say that event is going to happen.

Rahu’s Natal Position – Rahu’s position in birth chart is very much important here. It will show the overall strength of Rahu in your chart. To know the real strength of Rahu, we need to also check the dignity of planets it is sitting with in birth chart and also the dignity of sign lord.

Dasha – As always, someone going through Rahu MD/AD will feel the full impact of transit. Others will also see some of the results as transit duration of 18 months is long enough to impact the human life.

Nodes Return – Those who are born with Rahu in Aries in birth chart will also see full results, regardless of dasha, as it is an important transit of Rahu going over Rahu. Age of Individual – Results of malefic planets also depend on the age of person as they become mild after attaining maturity age. Rahu’s maturity age is 42 years. So, if you are over 42 or even close to 40, things can be more beneficial for you. But as it is malefic planet by nature, even benefits will come with some negativity.

Planets in Aries & Aquarius – Also, if you are born with planets in Aries, you will see results of those planets too as Rahu transits over them. So, the things that planet is karaka and things related with houses that planet rules will be blown out of proportion. Likewise, as Rahu co-rules Aquarius, the results of any planet in Aquarius will also be impacted and will be manifested through Aries and the house where Aries falls.

Rahu’s Aspects – Besides transiting in Aries, Rahu will also give results of the houses where it aspects through 5^th house and 9^th house. From Aries, Rahu will aspect on Leo and Sagittarius. So, wherever these 2 signs fall in your chart, those houses will also be affected by Rahu’s transit. Rahu’s aspects are more about educating ourselves and getting rid of illusion of Rahu in Aries. So, we will be inclined towards exploring or education related with houses where Leo and Sagittarius fall in our chart, so that we can nullify the illusion or fraud of Rahu as much as possible.

Planets Transiting through Aries – During the same transit of Rahu in Aries, other planets like Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Jupiter and Mars will transit through Aries in due course. So, all these planets will impact and get impacted by Rahu in Aries.

Rahu transiting over Nakshatras – Last but not the least, Rahu transiting over each nakshatra will give results of that nakshatra and the house where nakshatra lord is placed in birth chart.

• As Rahu moves backwards, Rahu is transiting over Krittika in Taurus and will continue this transit in Aries, we will continue to get results of Rahu in Krittika Nakshatra as discussed here - (https://www.astrosaxena.com/RahuTrKrittika).
• When Rahu moves over nakshatra Bharani, it can bring major instability and chaos as Bharani represents similar things. 
• When Rahu moves over Ashwini, then we can have some healing coming as Ashwini relates to Healing.

Now, the main course.

Please see results of this transit from Ascendant and Moon Sign both. Predictions from Ascendant Sign will show what can actually happen and predictions from Moon Sign will show what our mind desires and how mind will react to such events? Another thing is that when Ascendant and Moon sign both point towards one event that event is more potential to happen. Again, the occurrence of event is based on chart + dasha + transit. Event should be 1^st promised by the birth chart, then you should be under dasha which allows the event and then transits can bring the event. As we are looking at last step, it can’t be taken as final word on events to take place but we can get an indication where our focus will be in these 18 months as Rahu will make us gravitate towards things related to the house where it transits.

Aries Ascendant/Aries Moon Sign – For Aries people, Rahu will be in 1^st house/Aries of self, life path and overall life after ruling the 11^th house/Aquarius of income, gains and desires etc. This transit is all about focusing on self. They should leave everything else aside and now focus on themselves for next 18 months. They should work on themselves, life path and their overall life. They can be inclined towards working for self which will bring best gains. They can be travelling in foreign lands. But this transit can also make them extra aggressive and dominant. They need to be competitive and active but they should avoid being aggressive and dominant. It can be time to be an entrepreneur. At the same time, Rahu can keep them under illusion or can give them an appearance which can be illusive to people. Rahu’s aspects on 5^th house and 9^th house shows that they need to get higher education. Important transit if someone is ready to give time to self.

Taurus Ascendant/Taurus Moon Sign – For Taurus people, Rahu will be in 12^th house/Aries of foreign lands, spirituality and expenses etc after ruling 10^th house/Aquarius of Career, Authority and Recognition etc. As Rahu and 12^th house both represent foreign lands, foreign travel is seen on cards for them. At the same time, they need to restrict their habits of being spendthrift else their expenses and losses can be high. It can also bring expenses related with health issues as 12^th house represents hospitals. It also shows a very active person in spiritual matters or in career matters. At the same time, they can be inclined spiritually and like to gather lots of information in spiritual matters. They can keep some weird or controversial spiritual views too. They can travel to long distances for career matters. They can have high sexual desires during this transit. Father needs to take care of health issues.

Gemini Ascendant/Gemini Moon Sign – For Gemini people, Rahu will be in 11^th house/Aries of gains, entrepreneurship, serving humanity etc after ruling 9^th house/Aquarius of higher education, knowledge and travelling etc. It shows that they can have good gains during this time but again the best gains can be through business setup. Aquarius Ascendant or Aquarius Moon Sign - For Aquarians, Rahu will transit in 3^rd house/Aries of business, travelling & communication after ruling 1^st house/Aquarius of Self, Life path and overall life etc. As Rahu is transiting in house of business, they can be highly inclined towards having their own business. The overall life will be very busy in next 18 months and they can start their own business work. They will be seen as super-active. At least situations may develop such a way that they may be pushed to start their own business. It can also be the time of travelling, especially foreign travelling. Their business can also involve foreign people. They can be inclined towards learning new and unique things. Their courage, ego, will-power can be on high. Their relation with siblings can be at extremes. At the same time, they can have some conflicts at their job setup and some illness can come to parents. Pisces Ascendant or Pisces Moon Sign – Last but certainly not the least. For Pisces people, Rahu will be in 2^nd house/Aries after ruling 12^th house/Aquarius of foreign lands, spirituality and losses etc. It shows that Pisces people can have great gain of wealth from foreign lands. Their source of wealth can be foreign lands or foreign people. At the same time, saving wealth can be tough as Rahu remains a malefic planet. They can have some foreign element in their family environment or they can travel away from family in foreign lands. There can also be some unusual or uniqueness in family matters. It is looking a great transit for Career and Wealth matters as Rahu is impacting all Artha Houses. As Rahu will be 5^th from 10^th house, it shows happiness from work and career but again, it is more so if person is in business setup. There can be chances of fraud in wealth related matters.
