Rahu’s Transit in Pisces in Oct-Nov, 2023.
We are entering a phase of important and long term transits of the planets and one of the important transits is Nodes transit from Oct-Nov, 2023 onwards. So, let’s begin with understanding this Nodal Transits with Rahu’s transit in Pisces.
Normally, it is like a ritual to study Rahu & Ketu together in birth chart or during transit, but I write separate articles for Rahu and Ketu each, just to have a detailed and descriptive look at both transits. Also, there will be quite a few joint impacts which Nodes will create along with Jupiter-Saturn-Mars in remainder of the year. We need to see impacts of those transits through separate articles. So, Rahu will transit into the sign of Pisces on Oct-Nov, 2023. So, let’s have a look at how this transit is going to impact Human Life on Earth on the basis of following points –

Transit Period – Rahu will move into Pisces on Oct 30, 2023 as per Mean Nodes and on 29th Nov, 2023 as per the True Nodes. Rahu will remain in Pisces till May 18, 2025 as per Mean Nodes and till May 29, 2025 as per the True Nodes So, it is transit of almost 18 months which is a good enough time to make some events happen in our life. Again, it is never only one planet which causes the event. So, this article must be read along with other updates on transits I post at various times.
True Node Vs Mean Node – First of all, there are mainly 2 ways of calculating the transits of Rahu and Ketu. They are known as True Nodes and Mean Nodes. As per True Nodes calculations, Rahu and Ketu will change signs on 29th Nov, 2023 but as per Mean Nodes they will change signs on Oct 30, 2023. I am not going into debate of which one is more correct as the difference between the two is less than 1 degree. So, follow whichever fits your understanding. In case, someone is willing to experiment and find out as to which Nodes System work better for them then please pay attention that time-gap between transits of True Nodes Vs Mean Nodes is about one month (Oct 30, 2023 Vs Nov 29, 2023). In this approximate one month time, people can observe if they are getting more results of Rahu in Aries or Rahu in Pisces. Likewise, they can observe if they are getting more results of Ketu in Libra or Ketu in Virgo. So, this one month time can give us opportunity to find out which Nodes System is working for us.
Rahu’s Last Transit – Let’s 1st see how Rahu’s transit in Aries manifested in last 18 months. Aries is the sign of action, aggression and impulsiveness and Rahu amplifies the results of house/sign it goes in to. Hence, we have seen that throughout Rahu transit in Aries, we were under one or the other conflict. The transit started alongside Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and since then a threat of World War or Nuclear War was always on. Same transit was used by more wise people in their career ambitions.
At personal level, Rahu was transiting my 6th house/Aries which enhanced or amplified my work. Additionally, I took some loans and also had one or the other health issues throughout this transit.
As Rahu in Aries brought its results in our lives, either individually or collectively, there is every possibility that upcoming Rahu in Pisces transit will also give its results, which we are trying to find out through this article.

Now, Rahu, Pisces and Rahu in Pisces.
Rahu - Rahu represents illusion, foreign lands, foreign things, Drugs, Medicines, any type of intoxication, fame, wealth, success, obsession, past-life left-over karma, movies, television, online world, cheating, imagined fears, unusual things, unique things, creativity, rule breaker. Rahu also blows things out of proportions.
During transit, Rahu is basically that obsessive energy which makes us gravitate towards the things related to house/sign where Rahu is transiting in next 18 months.
Pisces - As Pisces is the 12th sign of zodiac belt, it represents the same energy and things which are represented by 12th house such as Isolated Places, Spirituality, Imagination, Other Dimension or Other World etc. Besides these things, it also represents your Hidden Talents, Ability to work in background, Spiritual Self etc. Pisces is consisted of last 2 and half nakshatra, i.e. Purva-Bhadrapada, Uttara-Bhadrapada & Revati. Pisces' lord is Jupiter.
One thing we have to remember with Rahu through Signs is that Rahu converts himself as the lord of the sign it is sitting in and then amplifies quality of lord. Like, when Rahu is in Pisces, Rahu will take all the qualities of Jupiter (Lord of Pisces) and then will amplify those qualities out of limit. Rahu also does same to the planet it is sitting with. Like, if Rahu is with Saturn then it will take all the qualities of Saturn and blow them out of proportion during Rahu MD or Saturn MD. It is always better to have Rahu alone in a house rather than conjunct with a planet. Ideal placement for Rahu is to sit with an exalted planet then it takes all the qualities of the exalted planet and amplifies them.
In general, we can expect following results with Rahu transiting in Pisces –
a. As I see, it is always easier to interpret malefic planets as they seldom change their basic nature. They are supposed to bring difficulties in our lives and bring situations where we are required to work hard.
b. The end result is that after facing those difficult situations, we realize our true potential. Even when Mars is exalted or Saturn is exalted then it is not that they are going to let-go of their basic nature which is malefic and which makes us work hard towards our ambitions with perseverance.
c. Simplest way to interpret any planetary position or transit is by looking at the nature of sign or nakshatra and nature of planet involved. So, we need to combine Rahu’s nature with Pisces nature.
d. As Rahu-Ketu always transit retrograde, we can say that Rahu is starting a new journey altogether by entering into Pisces sign, the final sign. It is just like a progressive planet is entering into Aries sign and it starts a new cycle of events. Likewise, Rahu in Pisces sign can begin a new set of events in our life which can impact us for next 18 years, till Rahu again enters in Pisces.
e. So, this can be the 1st way to interpret this transit that you can go back in your memory of the time when Rahu was last time in Pisces; i.e. in 2005-06, and try to remember what new things started in your life then? Rahu in Pisces can bring similar new events in our lives now.
f. Pisces is the only sign where Rahu’s energy becomes kind of positive as Rahu changes itself into Jupiter. Here also, Rahu becomes obsessed but as Pisces is sign of Spirituality, Creativity and Imagination, this transit can bring the spiritual, imaginative or creative side of people out.
g. People can be obsessed in gaining knowledge about Spiritual or Hidden side of life. In this quest, they can join or follow some spiritual groups, teachers or Guru.
h. As Rahu is unconventional and Pisces is Spirituality, this transit can bring a very weird or unusual approach to God and Spirituality in people. They can be easily seen as a person who is controversial in spiritual matters. It shouldn't be a surprise if we see people creating their own religion or cult. Not to forget that Osho had same Rahu in Pisces in his birth chart and he is known for his unconventional approach in matters of spirituality.
i. As Pisces represents 12th house energy of hidden matters, people can get obsessed towards the occult/mystical side of life and would love to learn about them.
j. As it is also sign of imagination and creativity, this transit can be excellent for someone who wants to pursue his creative talents. This transit can be very good for authors, creative content makers, for works like movie or TV.
k. At the same time, drawback of Pisces is its illusion or Utopian world. Rahu also represents illusion and amplifying things. So, we can say that this transit can come up with some extreme illusions and utopian dream too. Again, it can be in individual cases or collectively for society. People need to be careful before trusting anyone or any situation in life. It can be also a big illusion around any global situation.
So as I see, this transit can be excellent for Spirituality, Creativity and Imaginative work but we need to be extra careful before trusting another person or any situation in life.
l. Better use of the transit will be when we redirect our energy towards Spiritual activities and go towards Yoga, Meditation and other spiritual pursuits. Also, applying the guidance of our Guru in life can be better use of this transit. Then this transit can bring spiritual evolution, individually or collectively.
m. Now, in whichever house Rahu is transiting in your birth chart in Pisces sign, things and people related to that house can become a reason behind creativity, imagination or illusion, as the case may be.
House Co-ruled by Rahu – Rahu co-rules Aquarius sign with Saturn. So, whichever house of your chart has Aquarius sign, things related to that house will be manifested during this transit through the house where Pisces falls in your chart. But the actual event is based on chart + dasha + transit. So, just because of 1 transit, we can’t say that event is going to happen.
Rahu’s Natal Position – Rahu’s position in birth chart is very much important here. It will show the overall strength of Rahu in your chart. To know the real strength of Rahu, we need to also check the dignity of planets it is sitting with in birth chart and also the dignity of sign lord.
Dasha – As always, someone going through Rahu MD/AD will feel the full impact of transit. Others will also see some of the results as transit duration of 18 months is long enough to impact the human life.
Nodes Return – Those who are born with Rahu in Pisces in birth chart will also see full results, regardless of dasha, as it is an important transit of Rahu going over Rahu. Age of Individual – Results of malefic planets also depend on the age of person as they become mild after attaining maturity age. Rahu’s maturity age is 42 years. So, if you are over 42 or even close to 40, things can be more beneficial for you. But as it is malefic planet by nature, even benefits will come with some negativity.
Planets in Aquarius & Pisces – Also, if you are born with planets in Pisces, you will see results of those planets too as Rahu transits over them. So, the things that planet is karaka and things related with houses that planet rules will be blown out of proportion. Likewise, as Rahu co-rules Aquarius, the results of any planet in Aquarius will also be impacted and will be manifested through Pisces and the house where Aries falls.
Rahu’s Aspects – Besides transiting in Pisces, Rahu will also give results of the houses where it aspects through 5th house and 9th house. From Pisces, Rahu will aspect on Cancer and Scorpio. So, wherever these 2 signs fall in your chart, those houses will also be affected by Rahu’s transit. Rahu’s aspects are more about educating ourselves and getting rid of illusion of Rahu in Pisces. So, we will be inclined towards exploring or education related with houses where Cancer and Scorpio fall in our chart, so that we can nullify the illusion or fraud of Rahu as much as possible.
Planets Transiting through Pisces – During the same transit of Rahu in Pisces, other planets like Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Saturn and Mars will transit through Pisces in due course. So, all these planets will impact and get impacted by Rahu in Pisces.
Rahu transiting over Nakshatras – Last but not the least, Rahu transiting over each nakshatra will give results of that nakshatra and the house where nakshatra lord is placed in birth chart. First of all, Rahu will be transiting in Revati Nakshatra which has more or less similar representations to Pisces. So, most of the things we discussed as results for Rahu in Pisces transit can also come as result through Rahu in Revati transit.
Afterwards, Rahu will move into Uttara Bhadrapada Nakshatra and Purva Bhadrapada Nakshatra. We will see results of Rahu’s transit in these two Nakshatras as and when they take place through separate articles.
Now, the main course.
Please see results of this transit from Ascendant and Moon Sign both. Predictions from Ascendant Sign will show what can actually happen and predictions from Moon Sign will show what our mind desires and how mind will react to such events? Another thing is that when Ascendant and Moon sign both point towards one event that event is more potential to happen. Again, the occurrence of event is based on chart + dasha + transit. Event should be 1st promised by the birth chart, then you should be under dasha which allows the event and then transits can bring the event. As we are looking at last step, it can’t be taken as final word on events to take place but we can get an indication where our focus will be in these 18 months as Rahu will make us gravitate towards things related to the house where it transits.
Aries Ascendant/Aries Moon Sign – For Aries people, Rahu will be in 12th house/Pisces of foreign lands, spirituality and expenses etc after ruling 11th house/Aquarius of Serving Humanity, Entrepreneurship, Gains, Rewards and Recognition etc. As Rahu and 12th house both represent foreign lands, foreign travel is seen on cards for them. At the same time, they need to restrict their habits of being spendthrift else their expenses and losses can be high. It can also bring expenses related with health issues as 12th house represents hospitals. It also shows a person inclined in spiritual matters or in mystical matters. They can be inclined spiritually and like to gather lots of information in spiritual matters. They can keep some weird or controversial spiritual views too. They can travel to long distances for gains. At the same time, they should be avoiding habits of any kind of intoxication or drugs. Same spiritual matters or foreign matters or drugs related habits can be reason behind the illusion or Utopia, or we can say that their Utopian dream can get them into drugs or other spendthrift actions. This can also be a good transit for pursuing any imaginative and creative work.
Taurus Ascendant/Taurus Moon Sign – For Taurus people, Rahu will be in 11th house/Pisces of gains, entrepreneurship, serving humanity etc after ruling 10th house/Aquarius of career, authority and recognition etc. It shows that they can have good gains during this time but again the best gains can be through business setup. They can have R&R and Promotion in job. They can be very social or popular in their networking circles and their social circle may have more people from spiritual or creative field. At the same time, saving money can be tough as Rahu remains a malefic planet. It can also indicate a person who has some kind of Utopia around money matters and it may make them spend money a lot. Spiritual and Creative reasons can bring money too. They can have relocation. They can have some issues with their elder sibling. Their higher education and knowledge can bring gains, so they should share their knowledge and higher education. Entrepreneurship, Social Networking Circle or Elder Sibling can be the source of wealth. There can be major instability with their mother.
Gemini Ascendant/Gemini Moon Sign – For Gemini people, Rahu will be in 10th house/Pisces of career & work after ruling 9th house/Aquarius of higher education and guiding/counselling etc. It shows a rise in career, authority and recognition as Rahu can expand the matters of 10th house. But it can also bring some illusions in career or relationship with authority figures/father. Again, Rahu is impacting all Artha Houses which makes it beneficial transit for career. Good time to pursue career in spiritual, academic or creative field. They can have some issues with authority figures at work. Cancer Ascendant or Cancer Moon Sign – For Cancer people, Rahu will be in 9th house/Pisces of higher education, long distance travelling etc after ruling 8th house/Aquarius of relation benefit, business benefit and occult etc. It shows that they will be focused towards higher education and travelling related things. Aquarius Ascendant or Aquarius Moon Sign - For Aquarians, Rahu will be in 2nd house/Pisces of wealth, family and assets after ruling 1st house/Aquarius of Self, Life Path and Overall Life etc. It shows that Aquarians can focus on money related matters. Either Rahu in 2nd house/Pisces can bring lots of wealth or they need to be careful against any illusion or cheating in matters of wealth and assets. This transit can make them also speak in an illusionary way. There can be expansion in family. Their source of wealth can be foreign lands or foreign people. At the same time, saving wealth can be tough as Rahu remains a malefic planet. They can have some foreign element in their family environment or they can travel away from family in foreign lands. There can also be some unusual or uniqueness in family matters. It is looking a great transit for Career and Wealth matters as Rahu is impacting all Artha Houses. As Rahu will be 5th from 10th house, it shows happiness from work and career but again, it is more so if person is in business setup and working for Self. There can be chances of fraud in wealth related matters.
Pisces Ascendant or Pisces Moon Sign – Last but certainly not the least. For Pisces people, Rahu will be in 1st house/Pisces of self, life path and overall life after ruling the 12th house/Aquarius of losses, expenses and foreign lands etc. This transit is all about focusing on self. They should leave everything else aside and now focus on themselves for next 18 months. They should work on themselves, life path and their overall life. They can be inclined towards working for self which will bring best gains. They can be travelling in foreign lands. This transit can also make them spiritual, imaginative or creative. It also means that they can be under immense illusion about their overall life. They can incur big expenses. At the same time, Rahu can keep them under illusion or can give them an appearance which can be illusive to people. Rahu’s aspects on 5th house and 9th house shows that they need to get higher education. Important transit if someone is ready to give time to self.
Energy Accumulation in Scorpio – This transit of Rahu in Pisces will also bring energy accumulation in Scorpio sign which is going to become very important in 2024-25. Saturn is already aspecting Scorpio from Aquarius sign. From Oct, 2023 to May, 2025, Rahu will also aspect Scorpio sign from Pisces. Then from May, 2024 to May, 2025, Jupiter will be in Taurus and will also aspect Scorpio sign. So, from May, 2024 to May, 2025, Jupiter-Rahu-Saturn all will aspect Scorpio sign and it will make house where Scorpio falls in our chart very important. We can see some major changes coming in that area of life.
Conclusion – Only major drawback of Rahu in Pisces transit is illusion, imagination and Utopian approach towards life. So, please try to be as practical, as realistic and as awakened as possible. Please be mindful. Have a great Rahu in Pisces transit.
