Rahu-Mars-Uranus in Bharani Nakshatra
Among the current transits, one which is looking like the most challenging one is Rahu-Mars-Uranus coming together in Aries sign. Somehow, I have a feeling of concern around it. Let’s see the reason why through the energies involved –
Rahu - It represents Illusion, Foreign Lands, Foreign Things (foreign as in unknown things. So, for someone living in Punjab, culture and rituals of Kerala is also unknown and hence Foreign), Drugs, Medicines, any type of intoxication, Fame, Wealth, Success, Obsession, Past-life incomplete Desires, Movies, Television, Online World, Cheating, Imagined Fears, Unusual Things, Unique Things, Creativity, Rule breaker. Rahu also blows things out of proportions.
Mars - Mars represents our will power, courage, ability to take actions, aggressive nature, anger, our fighting ability, brother, male friends, a boy friend for a girl, a soldier, an athlete and real estate etc.
Uranus – As I see, Uranus works like Lord Brahma. What is Lord Brahma’s work? Lord Brahma is the creator in Hindu Mythology. It is believed that Lord Brahma created this Universe. Likewise, wherever Uranus is falling in our chart, we need to be creative and unique in the matters related with that house/sign/nakshatra. It means that we need to do something new or approach that house/sign/nakshatra in a new or unique way. Also, till the time we reach that creativity or uniqueness, Uranus will keep us engaged with things related with that house/sign/nakshatra. We can also say that person needs to be rebellious in that area of life. For example, I have Uranus in 12th house/Libra/Vishakha which means that I need to be very unique in my views on spirituality, hidden matters and sub-conscious mind. Unless and until I reach that rebellious or creative stage, I need to keep on working on my spiritual belief system.
Now, these 3 energies are already together in Aries sign. Rahu-Uranus are very close to each other degree-wise and Mars is at 10 degree. We can say from 20th July onwards, Mars will also be coming closer to Rahu-Uranus degrees and their close conjunction will remain there till 10th Aug when Mars will move into Taurus. This means that for about 20 days Rahu-Mars-Uranus will be very close to each other in Aries sign and Bharani Nakshatra.
So, let’s understand these two energies too -
Aries – Aries is the 1st sign of zodiac belt, so it represents the things and energy of 1st house of horoscope like Self, Personality etc. Besides that, Aries is the sign of our individuality, our aggression, our actions, our competitive ability etc. Aries is ruled by Mars and it is consisted of 2 and half Nakshatras named Ashwini, Bharani and Krittika.
Bharani – Bharani is nakshatra of death and re-birth, occult/hidden side of life and instabilities. This nakshatra is also connected with sexuality and attraction. As it is ruled by Venus, the significance of wealth, finance and creativity naturally comes to this nakshatra. Now, here is my concern –
Aries is aggression and violence.
Mars represents similar things.
Bharani represents major transformations and its deity is Lord Yama who is God of Death.
Rahu blows things out of proportions.
Uranus represents something very new and unique. As it represents creation, it would represent the process of destruction too as destruction of old is first stage of any new creation.
In a nutshell, it shows that these energies coming together can make people very aggressive or violent and Rahu can further blow it apart leading to some very destructive event, either at global level or at personal level or at both. These destructive events may prove to be the base or foundation of another new creation eventually ,but for now, it looks like a very destructive get-together.
A bigger part of problem is that it can be a very quick event which may not give much time to react and safeguard due to Mars in Aries (which is always Fast and Quick) joined by Rahu (which always explodes the results of planets it is with). So, in this case, it can be real quick or fast event.
As I said, it can impact us at Global Level and that we can see as per current situations globally and as per the evolution level of world leaders. Anyways, global events are never in our hands. We can only control our small lives, a little bit.
Now, at personal level, wherever Aries falls in our chart, we have to be very careful in that area of life. Especially, in that house is one of Dushthana Houses or 4th house (where Mars loses directional strength). We can also include 3rd house here as it is house of travels. This combination in these houses can bring situations of any sudden illness or accidents or surgeries or losses/expenses.
I know that eventually, dignity runs the show in Astrology but another generic rule of Astrology is that too much of malefic energy coming together is never good. Here, not only Rahu-Mars are coming together but they are coming together in one of troublesome Nakshatras.
In other houses too, these energies can show the result of aggression or violence or dominance/control struggle. So, we need to be aware or conscious of our actions and thoughts throughout this transit.
I know very well that there are higher representations of Rahu, Mars, Bharani, Aries and Uranus too but those representations are more for people who are at higher consciousness levels. If you think that you are one of them then well and good, please utilize this transit in creating something new. But my experience with people tells me that most of us are at lower consciousness level and when it comes to choosing between meditation and indulgence, most of us will impulsively choose the later. For them, it is very important that they should be aware of these difficult energies taking shape in sky and take proactive measures accordingly before it is too late.
Finally, how to deal with this energy of Rahu-Mars-Uranus in Aries/Bharani.
As I said, Mars in Aries can make a person highly energetic, active and aggressive. Rahu there, can further blow the results apart which means that person can be hyper-energetic, hyper-active and hyper-aggressive. Now, if this person doesn’t find any outlet to vent-out this extra energy then same energy can lead to destruction too due to frustration and inability to find a creative outlet.
In these situations, it is necessary that person should tire himself down in the activities related to the house where this conjunction is taking place before the energy takes a destructive turn. Like, for me, it is in 6th house/Aries. So, I should tire myself out at my daily work life. I shouldn’t mind doing extra work too because otherwise any excess energy of this conjunction can lead me towards destructive representations of 6th house too like conflicts, litigation, health issues/injuries etc.
Likewise, whichever house this conjunction is falling in your chart, just be super-active in that area of life and tire yourself down there dealing with more creative representations of that house. Like, in relationship oriented houses, rather than focusing on dominating/controlling your partner, you should focus on creative work or serving others.
As Osho says, “A kid, who kicks a football for two hours, will not have strength to kick another kid afterwards.”
This one quotation is enough to give an idea on how to deal with this transit.
And of course, people who are spiritually evolved and into meditation etc. can expect some mystical events to take place too, as Bharani is related with Mysticism too.
