Planet as House Lords - Pisces Ascendant

As requested, we will see Pisces ascendant today for the series where we will try to link houses with house lords for every ascendant. I won’t cover the basics as to what each house or each planets represent. Also, it is solely based on the houses involved and connection between them through house lords. We are not going to discuss planetary positions in chart.

Normal interpretation of Pisces ascendant people is that they are very spiritual as it is sign of Spirituality. Agreed but it is basically a sign of Imagination. Now, it can be any type of imagination. Spirituality is one such imagination but it is not the only imagination we can have.

As Osho said - "Spirituality is a deeper ditch than Materialism". Understand it like this - Normally we say that this world is illusion or this world is Maya. Now, what is meant by this? This world is all in front of our eyes, how can we say that this is illusion? This phrase only means that this world is not as what we are seeing it. But then only that person can say so who has seen the other world. As George Gurdieff said in his commentaries on Bhagvad Geeta - "only that person can say that soul is immortal who has realized or reached up to his soul". For rest of us, it is very much mortal that's why we are so afraid of death.

Coming back to point, this material world is very much real until and unless we "SEE" the spiritual world. Another way of saying it is that until and unless we "SEE" the spiritual world, that is just an imagination. Let's face it, majority of us have no idea about God more than what we are told by our families, societies and religions. It is not what we experienced. So till that time, Spirituality and God is just an imagination. Hence, it comes under Pisces sign as it is sign of imagination.

So, a Pisces ascendant person is very imaginative person and can imagine things which are never real or never took place. They can live in their own imaginative/dream world till eternity. They may not like anyone disturbing their dream. It can even go up to the limits of being a Bigot where they just don’t want to listen to other’s opinion. Even as other ascendants, you can see that in whichever house Pisces falls in your chart, you can be very imaginative about that area of life. Another way of looking at this is that Virgo is sign of reality or practicality of life and it is their 7th house. 7th house is directly opposite to 1st house/Pisces which makes Pisces people directly opposite to realistic and practical ways of dealing with life.

Sun rules 6th house/Leo and Moon rules 5th house/Cancer. As they rule only one house, they don't link it with any other house. Still, we can get some indications from this. It shows that they can land into ego conflicts and disputes with people and that can hurt their ego. They should be their own authority in their daily work life. Ego clashes can ruin their relationship. They can be emotionally attached with their happiness. Again, we link 5th house with children or creativity which is not wrong but it is house of your own happiness and they can be emotionally attached with their own happiness from wherever they get it.

Jupiter – It is ruler of their 1st house/Pisces and 10th house/Sagittarius. This shows that they should be in knowledge, wisdom or education related work. Any work where they can share their knowledge with others is good for them. They can be close to Father and they may try to become like them. Father can have great influence on them. They may love to be in authoritative position but as Jupiter rules 1st house of Self too, best authority would come through working for Self. A life path of works related with imagination, creativity and spirituality can also be a good option for them.

Mars - It rules 2nd house/Aries and 9th house/Scorpio which again links their wealth with higher education and knowledge. Their efforts and actions should be in field of education, teaching and guiding people. As it is also house of publications and Pisces is the sign of imagination, they can be good writers too. Their wealth can have links with people of different culture. It also shows their interests in higher education of occult/mystical side of life. Their belief system can go through a major change. It also shows a transformational association with their teachers.

Venus – It rules 3rd house/Taurus and 8th house/Libra which shows that their best wealth coming from business by serving other people needs. As Venus represents creativity, they can serve people through their creative pursuits. At the same time, as Venus represents relationship too and both these houses are related to hard work & instability, it shows instability in relationship. They should be careful while travelling and driving as there can be chances of sudden events.

Mercury - It rules 4th house/Gemini and 7th house/Virgo which clearly indicates a home based business related with communications, travelling etc. But as Mercury is enemy to ascendant lord Jupiter, they may feel frustration at home or in marriage. Just like they are like their father, their partner can be like their Mother. There can be some connection between their partner and their mother or home land or mother side family. Relationship is where they find their mirror image which is always opposite. They are imaginative and their partner is all about being realistic and practical in life. That’s where the problems arise. Also, Jupiter-Mercury natural enmity and relationship of frustration due to Pushya Nakshatra story plays an important role in their relationship issues.

Saturn – It rules 11th house/Capricorn and 12th house/Aquarius both which means that they earn and spend at same speed. It may be tough for them to save money. Best idea is not to keep money in your own hand. They can gain authority through entrepreneurship but that will come after much delay, hard work and perseverance. Likewise, they will gain money in life gradually and only after delay, hard work and perseverance. Their entrepreneurship can involve foreign lands or foreign people or imaginative/creative nature of work. Their spiritual development may take place after a considerable delay in life. Till then they may have wrong idea about spirituality.

Again, planetary position, dignity and dashas can change many a things here but foundation will remain like this.
