Maraka Impact during 2024-25.

Hence, the current article in which I will try to convey how Maraka Impact can be on three houses/signs in our chart in next 12 months and where we need to be extra careful.


Again, I am aware that any discussion around physical death of any person can be quite discomforting for many. Hence, please take your judicious decision whether you want to read through this article or not.

Maraka Houses and Maraka Planets – In an astrological chart, 2nd house and 7th house are known as Maraka Houses. Planets ruling these two houses and Planets placed in these houses can be called as Maraka Planets.


Likewise, 2nd house and 7th house from any house will become Maraka of that particular house. For example – if I want to know Maraka of 10th house then they will be 11th house (2nd from 10th house) and 4th house (7th from 10th house). So, planets ruling 11th house and 4th house and sitting there are Maraka Planets for 10th house and their dashas/antardashas can bring death/death-like situations for 10th house related matters or people. It is more potential if transits are also difficult. As I said, 2nd house and 7th house from any house will become Maraka of that particular house.


Now, let’s see in which houses/signs we can have a strong Maraka Impact in coming one year time.


1. First Maraka Impact can be on the house where Leo Sign falls in chart, as I mentioned in aforementioned article. Let’s see how -


Current Annual Transits – Now, if we see what is happening in Sky right now.


We all are aware that lots of planets are aspecting Scorpio sign right now and it will continue till May, 2025.


Likewise, a Stellium will take place in Pisces sign between March-May, 2025.


But beyond these, if we see closely then we may realize that Ketu is in Virgo and Saturn is in Aquarius sign.


Virgo sign is 2nd from Leo sign and Aquarius sign is 7th from Leo sign. So, Virgo and Aquarius signs become Maraka for Leo.


Now, why I chose only Saturn and Ketu?


Because among all planets, they are most malefic and together, they can represent death or death-like situations for us, basically any type of separation.


As Ketu is transiting 2nd house/Virgo from Leo sign and Saturn is transiting 7th house/Aquarius from Leo sign, at least till March, 2025, it shows that we need to be careful in matters or with people related to the house where Leo falls in our chart. We can keep a broader time range to be careful up to May, 2025.


Like, Leo is my 10th house being a Scorpio ascendant. So, I should be more careful in matters related with Father, Authority Figures, Bosses, Recognition/Fame and Knees etc. I have Rahu-Saturn in Leo which co-rule my 4th house/Aquarius. Hence, I should be careful about home, mother and other 4th house related matters.


Likewise, wherever Leo sign falls in anyone’s chart, person needs to be careful in those areas of life represented by the house where Leo falls. If there is any planet in Leo Sign then we need to be careful about things or people represented by that planet too in our chart.


It can be more the case if person is also under any dasha which keeps Saturn and Ketu active. This care needs to be taken till March, 2025 at least, till the time Saturn is in Aquarius. But as I said, we can keep a broader time range to be careful up to May, 2025 till Nodes also change signs.


2. Then another Maraka Impact will be on Capricorn sign. Let’s understand this one –


Annual Transits – Again, if we see the annual transits -


As discussed, Saturn is in Aquarius sign and between Oct, 2024 to Jan, 2025, Mars will be in Cancer sign.


Aquarius sign is 2nd from Capricorn sign and Cancer sign is 7th from Capricorn sign. So, Cancer and Aquarius signs become Maraka for Capricorn sign.


Now, why I chose Saturn and Mars this time?


Because not only Saturn and Mars are malefics but Mars is also losing dignity in Cancer sign. It will lose its dignity for about 9 months as it goes in direct/retrograde transit in Gemini/Cancer for 9 months. Moreover, Mars 8th aspect will also be on Saturn in Aquarius.


As Mars is transiting 7th house/Cancer from Capricorn sign and Saturn is transiting 2nd house/Aquarius from Capricorn sign, at least till March, 2025, it shows that we need to be careful in matters or with people related to the house where Capricorn falls in our chart. We can keep a broader time range to be careful up to May, 2025 till Nodes also change signs.


Like, Capricorn is my 3rd house being a Scorpio ascendant. So, I should be more careful in matters related with travelling, communication, business or siblings etc. Likewise, wherever Capricorn sign falls in anyone’s chart, person needs to be careful in those areas of life represented by the house where Capricorn falls.


If there is any planet in Capricorn Sign then we need to be careful about things or people represented by that planet too in our chart.


It can be more the case if person is also under any dasha which keeps Saturn and Mars or Aquarius & Cancer active. This care needs to be taken till March, 2025 at least, till the time Saturn is in Aquarius. But as I said, we can keep a broader time range to be careful up to May, 2025 till Nodes also change signs.


Another thing to note here is that Mars transit in Cancer and Ketu’s presence in Virgo will create Paap Kartari Yoga for Leo, which confirms our 1st part of analysis that it can be a difficult time for matters or people related with house where Leo falls in our chart.

3. The third Maraka impact will be on Aquarius sign. Let’s understand this one -


Annual Transits - As I said earlier, there will be a Stellium in the sign of Pisces from March, 2025 to May, 2025 - https://www.astrosaxena.com/articles/StelliuminPiscesin2025. Also, as I said, Mars transit in Cancer and Ketu’s presence in Virgo will create Paap Kartari Yoga for Leo sign and will make it really weak.


Now, why I chose these two signs this time?


Pisces is the 2nd house from Aquarius and Leo is 7th house from Aquarius. Moreover, they both will be under heavy impact of malefic planets.


Pisces sign will have Rahu-Saturn together along with other planets in Stellium and as I said, Mars transit in Cancer and Ketu’s presence in Virgo will create Paap Kartari Yoga for Leo sign and will make it really weak.


Under this situation, it shows that we need to be careful in matters or with people related to the house where Aquarius falls in our chart. We can keep a broader time range to be careful up to May, 2025 till Nodes also change signs.


Like, Aquarius is my 4th house being a Scorpio ascendant. So, I should be more careful in matters related with home, mother and other 4th house related matters. Likewise, wherever Aquarius sign falls in anyone’s chart, person needs to be careful in those areas of life represented by the house where Aquarius falls.


If there is any planet in Aquarius Sign then we need to be careful about things or people represented by that planet too in our chart.


It can be more the case if person is also under any dasha which keeps malefic planets in these signs active or Pisces & Leo signs active in general too. This care needs to be taken till May, 2025 till Nodes also change signs. Its highest impact will be seen during March-May, 2025.

4. Last but not the least, the final Maraka Impact is on Libra as Mars goes into this difficult transit in Gemini/Cancer from Aug, 2024 to May, 2025. Why?

Mars rules Scorpio and Aries signs. Scorpio is 2nd from Libra and Aries is 7th from Libra. So, Mars becomes Maraka lord for Libra sign along with Ketu as Ketu co-rules Scorpio.

Now, as Mars is in difficult transit in Gemini/Cancer for about 9 months, if someone also has Mars or Ketu active during dashas at any level then person can go through a major change in matters related to house where Libra falls in chart. This impact will be from Aug, 2024 to May, 2025.


Conclusion – So, we can see that time till May, 2025 can be difficult for all of us, especially in matters of houses in the chart where Leo, Libra, Capricorn and Aquarius fall in chart.
