Ketu – Ketu represents Isolation, Separation, Spirituality, Mystical World, Other Dimension means things related to Alien World. It also represents Son, Dog, Intuition, Research Ability, Curious Nature, things which we have already achieved in past life and not much concerned to perform in this life.

Cancer - As Pushya is a part of Cancer, Cancer sign and its representations become important. Cancer is 4th sign of Zodiac Belt, hence it represents the things represented by 4th house like Mother, Mother's Care, Emotions, Taking Care of Others and Nourishment etc. Cancer is consisted of 2 and half Nakshatras namely Punarvasu, Pushyami and Ashlesha. Cancer's lord is Moon, which again represents almost same things which Cancer and 4th house represents.

Moon - As Moon rules Cancer, Moon's position and dignity is important to know about the overall functioning of any planet in Pushya/Cancer.

Saturn - As Pushya is ruled by Saturn, Saturn's position and dignity will also have an important role in functioning and results of any planet in Pushya.

As Ketu represents our past-life expertise and Pushya is all about taking care & nourishing others, this position can again indicate someone who is excellent in teaching, counselling and healing professions. Any profession where they can serve others and take care/nourish others, they will be naturally good at that. They can be seen as born healers. They can also be working in child care, adoption centres and orphanages. They can be interested in alternate healing practices. They themselves can adopt a child and nourish him/her. In their personal life, they can have a feeling of lack of nourishment for self.

As Ketu itself represents separation, split, break-up etc, if Ketu is getting involved in relationship matters in a chart, it is never a good placement. Person will be feeling separated in relationship either physically or mentally or both ways. This will bring a tug-of-war kind of result where they may feel separated when they are in relationship but when they are single, they may desire relationship. As Ketu remains illusion, possibility of cheating is high in relationship.  Due to nature of Ketu and mythological story of Pushya, there is a possibility of infidelity, fraud and cheating in relationship.
