Horoscope of Mrs. Aishwarya Rai - Interpreting Current Dasha and Transits

There was a request to write an article on the chart of Mrs Aishwarya Rai (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aishwarya_Rai_Bachchan), especially in the light of recent rumors of her separation from her husband Mr Abhishek Bachchan.


Personally, I won’t be interested in writing about someone’s personal life. So, I would cover this analysis on the point of dashas & current transits as per her chart to know that in which areas of life she in particular and we all in general should be proactively careful in dealing with upcoming difficult times?


So, let’s begin -


Birth Details - First of all, there are two sets of birth details and charts available for Aishwarya in online world. There is even a possibility that both these birth details are incorrect. This is the drawback we have with Celebrity Charts. Anyways, let’s see which charts looks more relevant with her life so far -


a. Virgo Ascendant - One birth detail we have online is 1st Nov, 1973. 4.05 am. Mangalore, India. It is Virgo ascendant chart with Sun in 2nd house/Libra, Mercury in 3rd house/Scorpio, Rahu-Moon-Venus in 4th house/Sagittarius, Jupiter in 5th house/Capricorn, Mars in 8th house/Aries and Saturn-Ketu in 10th house/Gemini.


b. Libra Ascendant - Other birth detail we have online is 1st Nov, 1973. 7.20 am. Mangalore, India. It is Libra ascendant chart with Sun in 1st house/Libra, Mercury in 2nd house/Scorpio, Rahu-Moon-Venus in 3rd house/Sagittarius, Jupiter in 4th house/Capricorn, Mars in 7th house/Aries and Saturn-Ketu in 9th house/Gemini.


I had written detailed articles on Birth Time Rectification and I have also mentioned that it is a lengthy process. Hence, I can’t go through the whole process of BTR here (https://www.astrosaxena.com/articles/btr & https://www.astrosaxena.com/articles/btrjobs) but prima-facie, she looks like more a Libra ascendant person and the reasons are as follows -


1.Libra is ruled by Venus and Venus is with Rahu-Moon. Her 1st recognition was through winning Beauty Pageants. Virgo ascendant and its lord Mercury in Scorpio doesn’t show any such indication.


2.Libra ascendant chart has Moon ruling 10th house/Cancer of Fame and it is sitting with Rahu-Venus in 3rd house/Sagittarius. This also indicates her global fame rather than Saturn-Ketu in 10th house/Gemini and 10th lord Mercury in 3rd house/Scorpio for Virgo ascendant.


3.Her Career in movies can also be indicated from Rahu-Moon-Venus conjunction for a Libra ascendant chart (1st house lord, 10th house lord with Rahu) rather than Virgo ascendant chart.


4.I am not saying that a Virgo ascendant native with same planetary positions cannot get global fame but chances are very apparent for a Libra ascendant chart. Hence, I am inclined to take Libra ascendant chart as her chart. At the same time, I accept that this is very short version of Birth Time Rectification here. Whole process takes a very long time.


Now, if we look at her current dasha and transits to know as to in which areas of life she should be careful in near future -


i. She has started Jupiter MD from Jan, 2023. Jupiter is her 3rd house/6th house lord and sitting debilitated in 4th house/Capricorn. So, Jupiter MD can be challenging for her.


ii. As 3rd house and 6th house both are Upachaya Houses and 6th house is also a Dushthana House and as Jupiter is debilitated, it looks like a difficult time for her.


iii. Just to add, Jupiter MD also activates Rahu-Moon-Venus in 3rd house/Sagittarius where Rahu-Venus are in Moola Nakshatra. Jupiter MD also activates Vishakha Ascendant Nakshatra and Mercury in Vishakha. Vishakha itself represents split, separation or diverging paths.


iv. Moola also shows major changes and uprooting. As she has Rahu-Venus in Moola, it shows that major changes can be in matters of relationship and child (Venus is relationship and 5th house/Aquarius lord is Rahu)


v. So, if we see then dasha wise, she should be careful in matters of communication, relationship, health, conflicts, major transformations, accidents and regarding any kind of split or separation in her life.


Now, if we look at her annual transits to confirm areas of life where she should be careful in near future -


a. Saturn is right now in her 5th house/Aquarius.

b. Rahu is in her 6th house/Pisces.

c. Jupiter is in her 8th house/Taurus.

e. This shows some major changes in family matters, may be due to health issues or conflicts as Mercury is her Ghatni Karaka.

g. As major planets are impacting Scorpio and Scorpio lord is going through a difficult transit up to May, 2025, it shows that some major changes can come up in family (2nd house), relation (7th house) due to health issues, conflicts, miscommunication, accidents, surgeries etc. She should be careful while traveling, especially of her knees/thighs area of body.

h. Its peak can be seen during March-May, 2025 when a stellium will be made in transit in her 6th house/Pisces (https://www.astrosaxena.com/articles/StelliuminPiscesin2025). Stellium in Pisces will also indicate loss of 7th house/Aries, more so Aries lord Mars is in difficult transit in 9th house/10th house for her, it may also impact her public image and fame due to conflicts during the abovementioned time.


Finally, even if we rely on rumors and media reports for a moment that she is going through a difficult separation process in her family life then it only proves my point which I am repeating from last 10 years that there is nothing like charts matching and remedies “as we understand it”.


1. So, understand it like this. If I remember well then it was a high profile wedding in 2007. I am sure that both families would have hired the best of Astrologers or Pundits of that time to see through the wedding rituals.


2. They must have taken all due precautions as per advice of astrologers as to remedies to be done or gemstones to be wore or the worships to be performed in order to improve the compatibility of couple.


3. Actually, I distinctly remember that there were media reports about Mangalik Dosh of Aishwarya and its removal remedies performed. Again, how much these reports were true, I can’t say. But fact remains that in such a high profile wedding they all would have taken all due care as per astrology, remedies and rituals etc.


4. And still, if the result is this rumored separation then accept that there is nothing like compatibility of charts and remedies, “as we understand them”.
