Venus - Venus is Beauty, Desire and Love, Liquid Money. Venus is the main significator of marriage. Venus represents girlfriend or wife for a man. Venus is the significator of all relations, may it be husband-wife or mother-daughter. Philosophically speaking, Venus is also the cause of all the sufferings in our life. How? Because Venus represents our desires and we get pain and suffering in our life only when our desires are not fulfilled..
Transit Time – Venus transits through a sign in about 25 days.
Mahadasha/Antardasha – Person will be most impacted by Venus’s transit if he is also under Venus’s Mahadasha or Antardasha.
Venus’s Dignity – First important thing to see is Venus’s dignity in Birth Chart. If it is well placed in Own/Exalted/Friendly Sign then it shows a strong foundation for Venus and Venus related things.

For Aries Ascendant, it will rule 2nd house and 7th house but for Virgo Ascendant, it will rule 2nd house and 9th house. Now, wherever it goes into transits, Venus will bring the energy of the house it rules in your chart. Like, if you are an Aquarius Ascendant then Venus rules 4th house with Taurus sign and 9th house with Libra sign. 4th house is Home, Home Land & Mother and 9th house is Far Distant Lands, Luck/Fortune & Higher Education etc. So, wherever it goes in transit, person will be feeling the energy of 4th house and 9th house in transiting house. Impact of Venus’s Transit – Here, we need to keep in mind few things –
- Venus’s transit lasts about 25 days. It is not a big enough time period to make a profound prediction. At the same time, it doesn’t mean that Venus doesn’t do anything in those 25 days. But by the time we start getting/noticing results of Venus in a particular house or it starts setting stage for any important event, Venus moves to another house. So, to use Venus in prediction, it is necessary to see when Venus is going to retrograde in transit. At that time, it stays in a sign for about 5 months. Then we can use Venus in making prediction. Venus retrograde happens once in 18 months.Â
- Another thing is that Venus is a Gentle Planet like Moon. Hence, in majority of cases, Venus won’t be able to impact other planets but will be impacted by them. Only time when Venus impacts another planet is when it is impacting Moon and Mercury. Rest all planets are much more powerful than Venus. Hence, it is another planet which can be easily inflicted by Malefics like Sun, Mars, Saturn, Rahu and Ketu.Â

- In 1st house – Venus is in 1st house and person is in love with himself/herself. It means person may be very aware of his looks. He will give extra time to look better. This can also be time when a love story can begin in life. Overall, the mood of person will be pleasant, happy and loving during this transit.Â
- In 2nd house – Person would love to spend time with his family. He will love to check the wealth aspect of life. This transit can bring good wealth in family. Person will be looking to spend some quality and loving time with family. This is a transit directed towards family. Person might be interested in singing during this transit.
