Sun - Sun represents Personality, King, Government, Father, Authority, Career, Top Positions, Ego, Self Esteem, Health, Education etc.
For Virgo Ascendant people, Sun rules the 12th house of chart with its sign Leo. So, let’s look at 12th house and Leo too.
12th house - It is house of Losses, Expenses, Isolated Places, Spirituality, Foreign Lands, Foreign Companies, Imagination, Sub-Concious Mind, Charity, Donation, Asylums, Jails, Hospitals, Hidden Talent and Secrets of Other World etc.
Leo - Leo is 5th sign of zodiac belt, hence it represents the things associated with 5th house of horoscope like Love, Creativity, Arts, Being on Stage etc. Besides that, Leo is basically the Lion. This is the sign of feeling like King or Queen. Also, it is a sign of independence, Confidence, Ego, Self Esteem etc. Leo's lord is Sun.
What will Sun do in Aspect? – Now, Sun can be sitting in any house of chart for a Virgo Ascendant person. 1st of all, Sun will take the energy of house of chart, it rules with Leo sign, and take it to the house where it sits. Then from the house it sits, it will throw its aspect on the 7th house from its place. As Sun represents Ego and Authority, Sun’s aspect on a particular house will show where person will show Ego and Authority of things related to the house which is ruled by Sun through Leo Sign. I am sure that we will better understand when I cover Sun’s aspect house-wise.
Things which I still can’t cover – Although, I am trying to make it a detailed analysis of planetary aspects but I still can’t cover few things like dignity of planet involved, like exalted Sun aspecting 7th house from itself is different from debilitated Sun aspecting 7th house from itself, Sun conjunct with other planets, if there are planets in 7th house from Sun where it aspects, in which case those planets will aspect back at Sun and impact it, and planets aspecting Sun from other houses. That’s why, no matter how detailed analysis you do in Astrology, there are still few things uncovered and that just shows the limits of Human Efforts.
Now, let’s see the meaning and impact of Sun’s aspect through different houses for Virgo Ascendant people.
Sun in 1st house – Sun will be in Virgo here. It shows a person who gets authority and position while working at Foreign Lands and Foreign Companies. They are very analytical and perfectionist type of. Then Sun aspects the 7th house and they show the same authority and ego to their partners and spouse, which kind of ruins the relations. Masses may accept the ego but relations would suffer.
Sun in 2nd house – Sun is debilitated here. It shows someone loses his family and wealth in 12th house related things. It shows person unnecessarily spent his wealth in Foreign Lands. Now, Sun sends aspect to 8th house and person shows false ego and authority to in-laws and other people. This further deteriorates marriage and relations with in-laws. It also shows a person with lack of self-esteem, at least in early life.
Sun in 3rd house – Sun is in Scorpio. It shows a person who may have transformative/unstable relations with Father or Younger Siblings. It also shows that in early life person's ego takes a beating specially if he tries to do his own Business. It shows person is putting his money in investments. But when person successfully comes out of these circumstances, his ego develops and he shows the same ego towards Teachers and Gurus. As he learnt lessns hard way, he feels that he knows more than Books, Teachers and Gurus. Person may have good authority towards matters of higher education.
Sun in 4th house – Sun will be in Sagittarius. Here, person's ego and confidence is based on Home, Mother and Higher Education. Their ego will develop as they contribute towards home and mother through their expenses & spending of 12th house. It can also be a situation that person gets high honor in Foreign Lands which develops his authority at Home Land. As such, they command great respect at home or home land. This in turn increases their ego and authority in Society or Career with Sun's aspect on 10th house.
Sun in 5th house – Now, Sun is in Capricorn, i.e. enemy sign. This shows that person's Career, Ego and Authority in life develops with time and in early life Ego suffers hammering as Sun is in enemy sign. This also shows that Education was not of much help to person. Money spent on education or children is almost a loss. This person may pursue a creative career later in life and may find his ego developed there. Sun's aspect on 11th house of gain/income ensures that person gains out of creativity but it also shows ego battles with Elder Siblings and Friends.
Sun in 6th house – Here, Sun is again in enemy sign Aquarius ruled by Saturn. This person gains Ego & Authority while dealing with obstacles and colleagues at his daily routine jobs, but as it is in enemy sign, it happens with delay again. The more they deal with enemies and obstacles, the more their ego prospers. Sun's aspect on 12th house on own sign ensures that they will get authority in Foreign Lands/Foreign Companies.
Sun in 7th house – Here, Sun is in Pisces. This shows a person who spends some money on Spouse and later on shows as if it was a favor done. Obviously, spouse is not going to like it over a long time and this creates ego battles between the two. It kind of ruins the relation. But other people may accept such behaviour and hence the ego develops with Sun's aspect on Ascendant with recognition by Masses.
Sun in 8th house – Now, Sun is exalted. Although, 8th house will bring its ups/downs in life but as Sun is exalted, person will be easily able to overcome all turmoil and his ego will prosper. Person may be in high authority position in Secret or Research Oriented Work. As he commands respect at his work due to his authority, he receives the same respect within Family with Sun's 2nd aspect. As Sun is exalted, it is dignified ego.
Sun in 9th house – Sun will be in Taurus. It shows a person whose career is very much related with Foreign Lands as 12th house and 9th house are involved. This again shows a person in authority at foreign lands or someone going to far away lands for Higher Education. That's where the Ego Battles happen with Gurus as he or his Gurus are unnecessarily egoistic. Then Sun's aspect on 3rd house ensures person has great authority in his communication and speech. Relations with siblings and cousins may ruin due to same ego battles.
Sun in 10th house – Sun will be in Gemini here. It shows someone's career and authority developing in Govt, Foreign Lands or Foreign Companies. It also shows Father and his position as reason behind person's ego. As he gains good authoritative position at work, he displays the same authority at home with Sun's aspect on 4th house. Again, as Sun is well placed, it won't be a fake or unnecessary ego/authority.
Sun in 11th house – Here, Sun is in Cancer. It again shows someone gaining authority, ego and earning through Foreign Lands or MNCs. It may also show someone in work related with social welfare or humanitarian causes where he takes care and nourish people. That's where he gains Authority. This authority increases happiness in life with Sun's aspect on 5th house. It also enables him to command respect from Children or Loved ones.
Sun in 12th house – Sun is in own sign. Of course, a person high on Ego due to his position in Foreign Lands, Foreign Companies or in Govt jobs. Same authority is shown towards colleagues at daily work life with Sun's aspect on 6th house. Although, it is dignified Sun in own sign but colleagues may find person too egoist which may lead to ego battles.
