Planetary Relationship Synastry (PRS) Post # 4. 

So, in this post of Planetary Relationship Synastry (PRS), let’s see what happens if Mars of a person in relationship gets super-imposed over planets of another person.

A person’s Mars’s impact on another person’s different planets – It is like, Mars of X person is falling over different planets of Y person. Like, X person has Mars in Aries and Y person has different planets in Aries. Now, if these two persons are in any type of relation or friendship where they spend considerable time with each other then we need to see the kind of impact and end result this combination is going to create for them.

Other possibilities – Now, it can also be the case that X person has Mars in one sign and Y person has conjunction of planets in that sign. In that case we have to look for and interpret the joint impact of conjunctions of planets involved from Y person to X person’s Mars.

Impact like Conjunction – I think it is better to understand this super-imposition of planets from 1 chart to another like a conjunction. It is like both persons in relationship are having these super-imposed planets conjunct in that house/sign in their chart. Assertive Vs Receptive – As Mars is a fiery planet, it will assert itself when it is falling over gentle planets like Moon, Mercury and Venus. Moon, Mercury and Venus would be receptive in this situation. Mars would be equal in power with Sun and Jupiter, hence none of these can really impact each other and it largely depends on which planet has better dignity to decide who will be assertive and who will be receptive? With Saturn, Rahu & Ketu, Mars will be receptive and these planets will have impact over Mars.

Nature & Dignity Involved – Another important thing is nature, dignity and mutual relation of the planets involved which are getting super-imposed to each other or to houses involved. House involved – I think the most important factor in this series will be houses involved as those things will be impacted by planets. Like, If X person has Mars in Aries in 1st house and Y person has Moon in Aries sign in 10th house then X person’s Mars is going to impact the Moon as well as the 10th house related matters. Here, we can also include the houses those planets rule in respective houses. Things or people related with those houses will also assert or receive the impact. Jeeva Karaka Vs Ajeeva Karaka – Last but not the least, I think the concept of Jeeva Karaka and Ajeeva Karaka - https://www.astrosaxena.com/jkak will be the most important here for right interpretation in this series. Especially, when malefic planets are involved and getting super-imposed against malefic planets/ benefic planets of other chart in a particular house then achieving the results of Jeeva Karakas would become tough but results of Ajeeva Karakas of same planets and houses involved can still be achieved.

Now, the impact of Mars super-imposition over planets of another chart –

Sun – Now, if Mars of X person is falling over Sun of Y person then both persons will feel the impact in respective house of chart as Sun and Mars are equally fiery planets. Whichever planet has better dignity would have more impact on other planet. This combination would bring lots of go-getter attitude or approach to both people especially in matters of the house where they are coming together in respective charts. Y person will also show this attitude in matters of career and health. He may start being health conscious after meeting X. If both planets are in good dignity, they both would love to motivate and push each other for higher ambitious goals. At the same time, there will be lots of fire or heat involved in the house where they are coming together. Obvious result is ego clash and arguments but even if one planet is losing dignity or dushthana houses are involved then it can easily lead to arguments, fights and even physical violence.

Moon - Now, if Mars of X person is falling over Moon of Y person then it is the Y person who will feel the impact of Mars as Mars is far stronger energy than Moon. So, after these two people are together, Y would feel a certain stress due to dominance and control by X. X can also push Y towards bigger goals and ambitions. Y can also start having dominance struggle with Mother. Likewise, dominance and aggression can be related with houses Moon sits and rules in respective charts. Meditation can be helpful in these situations. Loss of peace of mind of Y person can be a prominent result after they are in relationship. Y person can feel that X is unnecessarily dominating.

Mars – Now, if Mars of X person is falling over Mars of Y person then it is the like both people having 2 Mars in their chart in 1 house. Both will assert Mars’s dominance over each other after they are together. One result is sure, i.e. dominance and struggle for control over each other and over things related to the houses where this super imposition is happening in two charts. If this house is family or relationship oriented then this dominating nature can be more harmful. Both sides may feel that after their association, they have become much more aggressive. This super-imposition can be positively utilized in sports or other physical activities like Gym etc if both sides are interested.

Mercury - Now, if Mars of X person is falling over Mercury of Y person then it is the Y person who will feel the impact of Mars over Mercury and in that particular house of chart. Mercury is too gentle to impact Mars. As Mars and Mercury are great enemies, this can have more bad impact than good impact. After their association, X can bring aggression in Y’s speech and communication. They should be careful while travelling together. Y’s relation with siblings and people related with houses ruled by Mercury can suffer due to aggression, dominance and afflicted speech. Even the association between X and Y may not be a great one due to same reasons. Only place where this association can be helpful is in business and hobbies/interests as X will provide impetus to Y to follow it.

Jupiter - Now, if Mars of X person is falling over Jupiter of Y person then both persons will feel the impact in respective house of chart as Mars and Jupiter are equally powerful planets. Whichever planet has better dignity would have more impact on other planet. If dignity is good, then it can be a really good association as X person will get wisdom and knowledge from Y and Y will get driving force from X. Only thing which becomes troublesome with Mars-Jupiter combination is fundamentalism and dogmatic nature around belief system. Y person can have dominance struggle with his teachers but at the same time, he can be driven to get higher knowledge. Likewise, X can gain new knowledge and higher education after coming in touch with Y.

Venus - Now, if Mars of X person is falling over Venus of Y person then it is the Y person who will feel the impact of Mars over Venus and in that particular house of chart. Venus is too gentle to impact Mars. This will definitely lead to some relationship conflicts as Venus is karaka of relationship and Mars is karaka of dominance and aggression. So, X can hurt the relations of Y after their association. Whichever house these 2 planets are coming together, relations or people of that house would also feel the pinch of dominance and aggression. Results here largely depend on the dignity of Mars and Venus. If they are in good dignity, it can bring a passionate love story. But if they are not well placed then it can easily lead to physical and sexual abuse. Y can lose Money due to X. At the same time, Y’s creativity can improve and he can be more driven for his creative pursuits. Dominance struggle can also be related to things or people of houses which Venus rules in Y’s chart.

Saturn - Now, if Mars of X person is falling over Saturn of Y person then it is the X person who will feel the impact of Saturn over Mars. Although they are equally strong planets but Saturn’s nature of delay and limitation would tame the results of Mars over a long period of time. X person would feel that his actions and efforts are not yielding any result after association with Y. They both can have serious frustration in this association. Also, dominance struggle and stress with people of houses where this super-imposition is taking place in their respective charts. The only good result which can come out of this combination is that they both can become very hard working and disciplined. This combination can also lead them for legal conflicts or legal career.

Rahu or Ketu - Now, if Mars of X person is falling over Rahu or Ketu of Y person then it is the X person who will feel the impact of Rahu or Ketu over Mars. As Mars represents aggression, anger and dominance, Mars super-imposition over nodes suggest that after their association, X person will have exploded anger and dominance streak. He won’t know where to throw his anger. Anger and dominance will be directed towards people related with the house where this super-imposition is taking place. This would remain the situation till they are together or till the age of 42 or 48 (for Rahu or Ketu respectively), whichever is earlier. Positively, X can become super-active and hard working after Mars-Rahu super-imposition. Mars-Ketu super-imposition can bring a sense of no idea about right actions and efforts till the association remains. This combination is best when Mars is exalted.
